MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a cutting-edge, energy-efficient technology designed to significantly reduce the need for external energy sources by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it generates. This innovative process works by taking the secondary steam produced by the evaporator and compressing it with a high-efficiency steam compressor. This compression ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Once elevated, this steam returns to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and generates evaporation, effectively recycling the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a streamlined and compact design that promises ease of maintenance. This comprehensive system encompasses the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, sophisticated electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its ingenious design ensures not only optimal performance but also unmatched convenience in upkeep.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance, position the High-Performance Compressor's integrally designed base on its foundation with precision. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically placed beneath the base—these are vital for achieving perfect unit leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons and, upon leveling the unit, secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 points for stability and reliability. These wedges should
be crafted and positioned by users, tailored to actual conditions. It's crucial that the contact surfaces are finished to ensure uniform contact on inclined planes.
The load-bearing capacity of the wedge-shaped iron should strictly not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 For precision leveling, employ a level tool. Adhere to these exacting leveling standards: the unit's axial level should be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should be upheld at 0.10/1000mm, ensuring top-tier performance.

3.3.3 Achieve impeccable alignment by centering the coupling. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure compliance with these critical prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power supply for safety;
2) Carefully detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling with precision;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free of foreign objects, debris, or residues;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes exceed bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to facilitate motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor feet. These gaskets must be flat, free of debris, and reject any long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, provided by the customer, for accurate alignment;
8) Prepare the necessary support bracket for the dial indicator as depicted below;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely (or follow specific instructions), ensuring maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and conduct a thorough review of the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, firmly fasten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure maximum stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is susceptible to damage from solid or liquid intrusion. Maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, ensuring compliance with the system's steam corrosion grade. Rectify pipelines that do not adhere to these standards. It is highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard the compressor.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline must be supported by a separate bracket, and not by the compressor body, to prevent undue stress and maintain system integrity.
3.3.7 Once the magnificent main fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the sturdy concrete foundation has fully solidified, you are primed to embark on the compressor operation test. This pivotal phase ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Position the state-of-the-art electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5 meters of the compressor itself. Expertly connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet through a sophisticated threading pipe that runs underground. Once the electric control cabinet is strategically placed, it is essential to carefully link the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the intricate lines at the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and control.
