This sophisticated system dramatically decreases the reliance on external energy sources by ingeniously repurposing the secondary steam energy it generates. The fundamental principle of this innovative process involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This compression artfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As this steam is cycled back into the evaporator, it effectively heats the materials, inducing further evaporation. This ingenious method allows the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization in the secondary steam, showcasing an exceptional commitment to energy efficiency.
The impressive DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a masterfully engineered assembly, predominantly comprising a robust compressor body. This body includes essential components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. It is complemented by a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instrumentation. Each element is meticulously designed to ensure optimal performance and reliability, making it an indispensable part of your energy-efficient solutions.
3.3.1 Begin by skillfully placing the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation. To ensure precision, slide wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, designed specifically to attain the unit’s optimal level.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons, achieving a balanced leveling of the unit. Secure these irons with spot welding at 4 to 5 points, ensuring a steadfast setup.
The wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions, guaranteeing a seamless contact surface. The inclined plane must achieve uniform contact,
ensuring the wedge iron’s capacity does not exceed a formidable 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to meticulously determine the unit’s level. The precision requirements: ensure an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and maintain a horizontal
level at an exacting 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prior to beginning alignment, ensure the following criteria are met:
1) Securely shut off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free from foreign materials, debris, and attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts, facilitating easy loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to securely cover the motor’s foot. Ensure these gaskets are free from attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid the use of elongated, thin gaskets to fill gaps between motor and base;
7) Employ a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter, precision at 0.01mm, procured by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket facilitates the mounting of a dial indicator on the hub’s edge, precisely positioning the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts encircling the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line effectively (or according to specific guidelines), ensuring the outer circle deviation remains at 0.05mm (motor shaft center line should be higher than compressor’s low-speed shaft center line), coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling’s outer circle runout and end face runout for assurance.;
12) Upon satisfactory motor idling tests, proceed to install the coupling’s intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and casing alignment, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen the bolts and retighten them to ensure robustness.
3.3.5 The impeller’s high-speed rotation makes it susceptible to significant damage from solids or liquids. Ensure the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipelines are pristinely clean, complying with the system’s steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet standards must be rectified. Implement solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet’s straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. According to the PI diagram, equip import and export pipelines with relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure the connected pipeline is supported independently by another bracket, thereby preventing the compressor body from bearing undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This step marks a crucial milestone in ensuring the seamless functionality and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius from the compressor for optimal efficiency. The wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be expertly connected via a threading pipe routed underground. After positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure the wiring terminals within the cabinet are seamlessly connected with the remote DCS lines, ensuring harmonious communication and control.
