3.3.1 Securely position the compressor base in its entirety on a solid foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims strategically under the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is impeccably level, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points for enhanced stability. Ensure the wedges are
custom-made and installed by the user, reflecting the actual conditions of their environment. The contact surface must be meticulously finished to guarantee an even interface with the inclined
plane. Note that the wedge iron must not exceed a bearing capacity greater than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level tool to ascertain absolute levelness. Unit leveling stipulations are as follows: axial level precision at 0.05/1000mm, while maintaining the horizontal
level at 0.10/1000mm for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve meticulous coupling alignment. Prior to initiating the alignment process, ensure the following criteria are met:
1) Disengage the main power supply completely;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's central segment with precision;
4) Inspect the motor’s installation plane for absolute flatness, free from any debris, dust, or foreign attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should be larger than the bolt size to facilitate easy loosening and adjustment of the motor;
6) Ensure an adequate supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot. The gaskets must be immaculately clean and perfectly flat - avoid using elongated thin gaskets that might be inserted for adjustment between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (to be sourced by the customer);
8) Prepare an appropriate stand to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, and gently place the dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By skillfully adjusting the motor feet’s adjustment bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. The maximum deviation permitted for the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line remains slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, firmly tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously verify both the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for conformity;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to reinstall the coupling's central section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving precise "levelness" and alignment of the casing, fasten the anchor bolts securely. Post mechanical (or trial) operation, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a crucial high-speed rotating element; any foreign solid or liquid intrusion could inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. It's vital to verify that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion grade. Should any pipeline fall short of this standard, immediate rectification is essential. Additionally, consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment (such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) just before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with relevant accessories as dictated by the PI diagram. Importantly, the pipeline connecting to the compressor must be independently supported by a separate bracket, preventing any undue weight from being borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its auxiliary apparatus is meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation has achieved full solidity, it's time to conduct the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor.
