3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base on its foundation. To ensure perfect leveling, position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons meticulously. Once the unit is level, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges must be tailored and installed by the user, taking into account the specific setup. Ensure the contact surface is finished for even
contact on the inclined plane, with a maximum bearing capacity of no more than 40Kg/cm².2.)
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to establish perfect leveling. Adhere to these stringent leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve meticulous coupling alignment by observing the following essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure safety by completely turning off the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision.
4) Examine the motor installation plane for any impurities, ensuring a clean, debris-free surface.
5) The motor bolt holes must be sufficiently large to allow bolt loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Prepare and use adequate stainless steel gaskets that are perfectly flat and free from any impurities. Avoid thin gaskets between the motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a high precision of 0.01mm, provided by the customer.
8) Ready the support bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure.
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub's edge, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By finely adjusting the motor foot bolts, align the compressor and motor centerlines, maintaining a max deviation of 0.05mm, and ensure the motor's shaft center line is above the compressor's low-speed shaft center.
11) Finally, secure the motor foot bolts tightly and verify the runout of the outer circle and end face of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once you've achieved optimal "levelness" and alignment of the casing, ensure to tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, revisit and retighten the bolts for enhanced security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, must remain pristine. Any solid or liquid intrusion can cause severe compressor damage. Thus, ensure all inlet/outlet pipelines are clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Inadequate pipelines need immediate rectification.Consider installing solid liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for pipeline accessory installation, ensuring additional bracket support for pipelines to avoid any load on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are expertly installed, and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, it's time to embark on the exciting journey of conducting the compressor operation test.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is meticulously connected using threading pipes, which should be tactfully routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, setting the stage for operational excellence.
