This innovative process works by reutilizing the energy from secondary steam, which it ingeniously generates. The core principle lies in compressing secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, with a highly efficient steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heated steam is then recycled back to the evaporator, effectively heating materials to initiate evaporation. This remarkable cycle masterfully recycles the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, ensuring outstanding energy efficiency and conservation.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, comprising an expertly designed compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design showcases a compact structure, prioritizing ease of maintenance and operational convenience. This sophisticated system ensures optimal performance and reliability for a wide range of industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin by superbly positioning the compressor base on the prepped foundation. Elegantly place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, these are used for the crucial unit leveling.
Artfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit achieves perfect levelness, then skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points. These wedges, tailored for your specific needs,
are to be crafted and installed by the user, with meticulous attention to ensure the contact surfaces are finished to perfection—ensuring even contact of inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of these masterfully crafted wedge irons should never exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize precision with a level to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's leveling precision requirements: the axial level should be a precise 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level,
a meticulous 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 The coupling requires expert centering. Before embarking on the alignment journey, ensure these crucial steps:
1) Securely turn off the main power;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts to allow easy adjustment of the motor with loosened bolts;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be spotless and perfectly flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Leverage a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be procured by the customer;
8) Prepare a sophisticated bracket to support the dial indicator as shown in the illustrative figure below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to gracefully position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe placed on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's alignment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, achieving a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle—the motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts.;
12) Following the motor's idle test, install the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 After achieving optimum 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, ensure anchor bolts are tightly fastened. Post mechanical or trial operations, these bolts should be loosened and retightened.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed masterpiece, vulnerable to irreversible harm from any solid or liquid intrusion. Maintain pristine cleanliness of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines, complying with steam corrosion system standards. Any non-conforming pipelines must be promptly rectified. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. These should be equipped with the relevant pipeline accessories, following the PI diagram's guidance. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported externally, with its weight never burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its supporting equipment, is installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, it is time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This ensures that everything is perfectly aligned and ready for a smooth and efficient performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For a streamlined and secure connection, utilize threading pipes to conduct the wiring underground from the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely in place, skillfully link the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and reliable control system.
