This method involves pressurizing and heating steam at the tower's pinnacle to a superior grade using external power. This steam then serves as the reboiler's heat source at the tower's base, ingeniously recovering the latent heat from the steam at the tower's summit, thereby optimizing energy usage and boosting performance.
Direct compression heat pump distillation is an advanced method where the vapor phase at the tower's peak becomes the working fluid. Through the use of an external steam compressor, the energy level of this vapor phase is elevated, turning it into a high-temperature heat source for the reboiler at the tower's base. As demonstrated in the accompanying figure, this direct compression approach is ideally suited for separation systems with minimal temperature gradients and closely matched boiling points between the top and bottom of the tower, ensuring refined and efficient processing.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation by securely positioning the compressor base on the foundation. To achieve optimal leveling, place wedge-shaped shims under the base. These shims will help you delicately adjust the unit's level, ensuring precision.
Carefully arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, execute a spot weld on 4 to 5 points on the wedge-shaped irons to secure them in place, for impeccable stability.
It is essential that the user fabricates and installs the wedges according to the specific on-site conditions. Make sure that the contact surfaces are finely finished to guarantee even distribution across the inclined plane.
Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect leveling using a level tool. The unit must adhere to the following stringent leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring unparalleled stability for the entire setup.
The horizontal level of the unit must be 0.10/1000mm, guaranteeing impeccable alignment.

3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is precisely centered. Before beginning the alignment process, confirm these critical preconditions:
1) Disable the main power supply to ensure a safe working environment;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts to allow for easy adjustments during alignment;
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to use under the motor feet. These gaskets must be pristine and flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Prepare to use a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with precision up to 0.01mm, as provided by the customer;
8) Have a sturdy bracket ready to support the dial indicator, following the illustrative figure below;

9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through careful adjustments of the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. The deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviations within 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts, then reassess for any outer circle runout or end face runout of the coupling, ensuring everything stays within the desired specifications.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post-motor idling test, solidifying the connection.
3.3.4 Post-leveling and alignment adjustments, secure the casing by tightening the anchor bolts. Post-trial operation, it is crucial to loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal mechanical stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, demands utmost care. Solid or liquid intrusion can irreparably damage the compressor. Ensure connected inlet and outlet pipelines are spotless and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade. Pipelines failing to meet this criterion must be rectified immediately.
Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight piping to mitigate risks.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Align import/export pipelines with accompanying accessories per the PI diagram. The compressor-connected pipeline should have separate bracket support, ensuring it bears no weight from the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, the exciting phase of compressor operation testing can commence. 3.3.8 For optimal safety and efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor.
