Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The sophisticated compressor base seamlessly anchors itself onto the foundation, with wedge-shaped shims nestled underneath to achieve meticulous unit leveling.
These shims should be alternated in placement. Once perfect leveling is achieved, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. The user is responsible for the tailored manufacture and installation of these wedges,
ensuring the contact surface is superbly finished for an impeccable fit.
The inclined plane should make even contact, and the wedge's formidable bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ precision instruments to ascertain levelness. The unit's leveling criteria demand that the axial level is an impressive 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level offers a precise 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve optimal coupling centering by adhering to these pre-alignment stipulations:
1) Power down the entire main system;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane to guarantee absolute cleanliness, devoid of debris or foreign particles;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are substantially larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for ease in adjustment;
6) Secure a plentiful supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor's feet. The gaskets must be impeccably flat and clean, avoiding flimsy, elongated pieces between motor and base;
7) Utilize either a hyper-precise dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter with a minute accuracy of 0.01mm, procured by the customer;
8) Prepare the specialized bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket should be expertly outfitted to accommodate a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe sits on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Meticulously adjust the bolts around the motor's feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle deviation must not surpass 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center sitting slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling face deviation should rest between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts and reassessing both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.
12) After executing a thorough motor idling test, proceed with the installation of the intermediate coupling section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's "levelness" and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Should a mechanical or trial operation ensue, loosen, then re-tighten these bolts to secure integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-velocity component, is vulnerable to irreversible damage from foreign solids or liquids. As such, rigorously ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate immediate rectification. An astute recommendation is to incorporate solid-liquid separation apparatus, such as a gas scrubber or a sedimentation tee, positioned strategically before the compressor inlet on the straight pipe.

3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Pipeline connections require adherence to the PI diagram, with auxiliary pipeline accessories duly installed. Ensure that pipelines are supported by independent bracketing, with no weight borne by the compressor structure itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supplementary systems have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, you are ready to proceed with the compressor's operational test. This step marks a significant milestone, ensuring that everything is perfectly set up for flawless performance.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for optimal efficiency. Utilize threading pipes to expertly connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring the entire setup remains discreetly underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, make sure to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing seamless integration and control.
