3.3.1 Begin by strategically positioning the compressor base integrally on its foundation. To achieve a perfectly leveled unit, skillfully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base.
Alternating the arrangement of these wedge-shaped irons, level the unit with precision. Secure them in place by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user is entrusted with the creation and installation of these wedges, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are impeccably finished for flawless engagement.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to achieve impeccable axial and horizontal leveling of the unit. Aim for an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to the following meticulous steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign matter or debris;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size for ease of motor adjustments;
6) Have ample, immaculate stainless steel gaskets ready for aligning the motor feet. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer should procure;
8) Secure a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, following the illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to impeccably position the dial indicator on the hub's edge, monitoring the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts diligently, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum deviation is within 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line subtly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, rechecking both outer circle and end face runouts.;
12) Following a successful motor idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 After perfecting the casing's levelness and alignment, fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and then re-tighten these bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, making it crucial to prevent the ingress of any solids or liquids that could cause irreversible damage. Ensure the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and align with the steam corrosion specifications. Non-compliant pipelines must be upgraded.It is highly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Attach relevant pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline must be independently supported to avoid imposing its weight on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary components have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, it is time to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures the seamless functionality of your Split Base Steam Compressor with Enhanced Guide Vane Adjustment, setting the stage for impeccable performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The wiring process demands precision, thus the connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be elegantly guided through an underground threading pipe. After securing the electric control cabinet in its designated place, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet to the remote DCS. This integration will facilitate flawless operation and control.
