3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base directly onto the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, expertly leveling the unit. Secure these irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user is responsible for the crafting and installation of the wedges, tailored to the specific situation, ensuring a smooth contact surface.
Ensure the inclined plane contacts evenly, maintaining a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain precision. Adhere to the unit's strict leveling criteria: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling before initiating alignment. Confirm these prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt to allow loosened bolts for motor adjustments;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot, ensuring no attachments and maintaining flatness. Avoid using long and thin gaskets between the motor and base for corrections;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or laser alignment meter boasting a 0.01mm accuracy (customer-provided);
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the hub's edge, and position the probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines (or follow the respective instructions), ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should surpass the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, reviewing the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for accuracy;;
12) Proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section following a motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. After executing a mechanical operation or trial run, release and re-tighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, requires a contaminant-free environment. Solids or liquids entering it could lead to irreversible compressor damage. Consequently, pipelines linked to the compressor must be thoroughly clean and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo modification.It is advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate accessories as dictated by the PI diagram. Pipelines connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, preventing undue weight on the compressor structure.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all of its supportive equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 It is essential to position the electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor. For optimal functionality, ensure the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is meticulously threaded through piping that runs underground. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, it is crucial to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals inside it to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing smooth operation and control.
