Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be carefully and precisely positioned on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure perfect leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately and, once the unit is perfectly level, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points. The wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed based on specific site conditions, and the contact surface must be impeccably finished for even contact of the inclined
plane. Ensure that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the level of the unit. The leveling criteria are: maintain an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before commencing with alignment, please ensure the following steps are meticulously followed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, or any foreign attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts to facilitate easy adjustments by loosening and repositioning the motor;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor feet. Gaskets must be clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare and position the bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, and position a dial indicator probe along the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By adeptly adjusting bolts around the motor feet, ensure the compressor and motor center lines are precisely aligned (or as per specific instructions), aiming for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (with the motor shaft center line being slightly higher than that of the compressor's low-speed shaft), and coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts, then double-check and verify the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post-motor idling test to ensure flawless operation.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and aligning the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After conducting a mechanical operation (or trial run), retighten the bolts to secure the setup.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component that demands no intrusion of solids or liquids, as they could inflict irreversible damage. Therefore, it is imperative to maintain cleanliness and compliance with steam corrosion grade requirements for the inlet and outlet pipelines associated with the compressor. Any non-compliant pipelines should be promptly rectified. It is highly
recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the import and export pipelines are fitted with all necessary accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. It is crucial that pipelines connected to the compressor are supported independently, with their weight not bearing down on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the sophisticated main fan and its supportive ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete reaches complete solidification, the stage is set to initiate the compressor operation test. This ensures that every component is ready to deliver peak performance and reliability, paving the way for seamless operations.
3.3.8 Precision is key in the installation of the compressor's electric control cabinet, which should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter proximity of the compressor. The wiring journey commences with threading pipes, gracefully traversing underground to connect the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the cabinet is securely in place, you can proceed to synchronize the wiring terminals with the remote DCS lines, ensuring flawless connectivity and command.
