MVR, or Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative energy-saving technology that dramatically reduces external energy consumption by skillfully reutilizing the energy from secondary steam it generates. The core principle involves the compression of this secondary steam, using a highly efficient steam compressor, to transform electrical energy into thermal energy. This process elevates both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, which is then redirected back to the evaporator. Here, it heats materials, inducing evaporation and thus achieving the brilliant recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, featuring a sophisticated assembly of components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is not only compact but also ensures ease of maintenance, making it a highly efficient and reliable choice for various industrial applications.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation by securely positioning the compressor base directly onto its foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust and level the unit.
Expertly arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern, ensuring precision-level alignment. Spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 critical points for steadfast positioning.
Customize and craft the wedges on-site to suit actual conditions, ensuring a perfectly even contact surface.
The inclined plane should be precisely calibrated, with the wedge iron's load-bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Achieve perfect leveling using precision tools. Adhere strictly to unit leveling standards: axial precision of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with care. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) The main power supply is completely deactivated;
2) The coupling shield is systematically removed;
3) The diaphragm coupling's intermediate section is detached;
4) The motor installation plane is meticulously inspected for cleanliness, ensuring no obstructions are present;
5) Motor bolt holes must exceed bolt size, allowing necessary adjustments by loosening bolts;
6) Adequate stainless steel gaskets are on hand to support the motor feet, free from imperfections and impeccably flat. Avoid thin and elongated gaskets for alignment;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be arranged by the client;
8) Set up a bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the subsequent illustration;

9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the wheel hub edge, carefully probing the outer compressor hub edge.
10) Adjust motor foot bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely (or follow specific guidelines), maintaining an outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (note: motor shaft center should be above compressor low-speed shaft center), with coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts, then meticulously check for any coupling outer circle and end face runout errors;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving 'levelness' and alignment, firmly secure anchor bolts. Post-trial operation, loosen and re-tighten bolts for continued stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, swiftly rotating, can be compromised by solids or liquids, necessitating immaculate cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines. Ensure compliance with system steam corrosion standards; non-conforming pipelines require immediate rectification. It is highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Accurately install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Pipeline accessories must comply with the PI diagram. Support pipelines with a separate bracket, never relying on the compressor for structural support.
3.3.7 Once you've successfully installed the main fan and its supporting equipment and ensured that the concrete base has fully cured, you are ready to proceed with the exhilarating compressor operation test. This marks an important step in ensuring that your setup is fully functional and ready for action.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a strategic 5m radius of the compressor itself. Employ underground threading pipes to seamlessly connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the control cabinet is securely in place, establish a reliable connection of wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a cohesive and efficient system.
