3.3.1 Ensure a seamless installation by positioning the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Under the base, place wedge-shaped shims, which serve the crucial role of unit leveling adjustment.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. After achieving perfect leveling, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring stability.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to specific conditions. The contact surface must be finished to ensure even contact on inclined planes,
and the bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ precision tools like a level to perfect the leveling. The exacting requirements: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm must be adhered to.
within these limits to ensure operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to the following essential preparatory steps:
1) De-energize the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it is free from debris and obstructions;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, facilitating easy adjustments;
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets to cushion the motor, ensuring they are pristine and faultlessly flat.
7) Utilize precision instruments like a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm,
8) Ensure the presence of a suitable bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted below;
9) Utilize a motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub edge and align a probe on the compressor wheel hub's edge;
10) Meticulously adjust the motor feet bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring a deviation of no more than 0.05mm.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts and reassess the alignment of the coupling's outer circle and end face for consistency.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reattach the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Following precise adjustments of levelness and alignment, secure the anchor bolts firmly. Post-mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten for added security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed component, is vulnerable to any solid or liquid ingress, which can cause irreparable damage. Thus, it's imperative that inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean, meeting the stringent corrosion grade standards of the system. Any discrepancies must be addressed promptly. It is highlyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the straight pipe leading to the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should be fitted with appropriate accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram. The compressor-connected pipeline must be independently supported by an alternate bracket, ensuring the compressor bears no weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its auxiliary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete structure has reached full solidity, you are poised to embark on the compressor's operation test, ensuring a seamless integration into your system.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet for the compressor strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure the highest standards of safety and efficiency by threading the wiring through a protective pipe, discreetly routed underground. Once the cabinet is securely installed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines extending to the remote DCS, achieving optimal control integration.
