The core principle involves compressing secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor, transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This process increases the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, which is then cycled back into the evaporator. Here, it serves the dual purpose of heating materials and facilitating evaporation, effectively recycling the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam, thereby optimizing energy use and efficiency.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is an innovative marvel, intricately designed with key components such as the compressor body (including volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal), a reliable coupling, and a robust motor, all complemented by sophisticated electric instruments. Each component is meticulously crafted to ensure superior performance and adaptability in diverse applications.
3.3.1 Begin by meticulously placing the compressor base onto its foundation, ensuring it is seamlessly aligned. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level. This precise adjustment is essential for optimal performance.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, achieving a perfect balance. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, perform spot welding on the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
These wedges should be custom-manufactured by the user, taking into account the specific situational needs. Ensure the contact surface is flawlessly finished for even and secure contact with the inclined plane.
The bearing load of the wedge iron must not exceed a stringent 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain perfect balance. The unit's leveling criteria demand that the axial level should be maintained at a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal standard is set at 0.10/1000mm.
These stringent requirements ensure impeccable stability and performance.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Prior to initiating the alignment process, ensure the following essential safety and preparation steps are meticulously adhered to:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for thorough alignment;
4) Check the motor installation plane's flatness meticulously, ensuring it is free from any unwanted debris or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing for looseness and precise motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot, ensuring they are free from any attachments and are perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, as these tools are indispensable and should be customer-provided;
8) Ensure the readiness of a bracket designed to support the dial indicator as elaborated in the diagram below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to situate a dial indicator on the hub's perimeter, placing the probe on the outer edge of the compressor hub;
10) By scrupulously adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines to precision. The maximum permissible deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, then meticulously verify the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for precision alignment.;
12) Once satisfied with the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with care.
3.3.4 Post leveling and aligning the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following any mechanical operation or trial run, it is prudent to loosen these bolts and re-tighten them to ensure sustained integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, is susceptible to irreversible damage from foreign solids or liquids. Thus, ensuring the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and comply with the steam corrosion grade of the system is imperative. Any pipelines falling short of this standard must be immediately rectified. Consider installing solid-liquid separation devices—like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe for assurance.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. These critical components must feature relevant pipeline accessories as detailed in the PI diagram. The connected pipelines require independent support from a bracket to prohibit their weight from burdening the compressor body, ensuring enduring performance and reliability.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and all its accompanying equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved full solidification, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test with confidence.
3.3.8 Ensure that the electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the unit. For optimal safety and efficiency, the wiring extending from the compressor to the cabinet should be securely routed through threading pipes, which must be installed underground. When the electric control cabinet is securely in place, carefully connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS system, ensuring seamless integration and functionality.
