3.3.1 Begin by gracefully placing the compressor base onto the robust foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust the unit's level.
Expertly alternate two wedge-shaped irons until the unit is precisely leveled. Then, skillfully spot weld the irons at 4~5 strategic points, ensuring stability.
The user should expertly manufacture and install the wedges, tailored to the actual situation. Ensure the contact surface is uniformly finished for optimal performance.
The inclined plane must meet even contact requirements, and the wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve perfect alignment. The unit’s axial level precision is set at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level precision is 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures your compressor is perfectly balanced and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling precision by centering it with utmost care. Before diving into alignment, confirm these pivotal prerequisites:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield;
3) Carefully take out the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane for any foreign materials, dirt, or attachments, ensuring a clean surface;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for easy loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for motor-base adjustments;
7) Use an ultra-precise dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter, boasting an impressive 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Securely prepare the bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Mount the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to elegantly place a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines with precision. The maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft line. Coupling end face deviation should be 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts firmly, and meticulously review both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After a successful motor idling test, thoughtfully reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once level and alignment adjustments of the casing are completed, secure the anchor bolts firmly. After mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts for guaranteed stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands utmost protection. Any solid or liquid intrusion could cause irreversible damage. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify non-compliant pipelines and consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Carefully install both inlet and outlet pipes of the compressor. Follow the PI diagram for precise installation of relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure the connected pipelines are independently supported by another bracket, as their weight must never burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation of the main fan and its supplementary equipment, and once the concrete has fully cured, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This vital step ensures that your setup is robust and prepared for industrial operation, providing the reliability and efficiency your business demands.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously installed using threading pipe, routed underground to maintain a clean and safe workspace. After the electric control cabinet is securely installed, ensure a seamless connection by linking the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, fortifying your control system for superior functionality.
