MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a breakthrough energy-conserving technology designed to significantly reduce external energy demands. At its core, this innovative technology operates on a fundamental principle: the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is skillfully compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This conversion process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, this temperature rise allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials, triggering evaporation. This sophisticated cycle ingeniously enables the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DML series steam compressor, lauded for its low temperature rise capabilities, is a sophisticated assembly comprising several key components: a compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal; a coupling; motor; and a suite of electric instruments. Each element is meticulously designed and integrated to ensure unparalleled performance and reliability, making it an essential component in modern steam compression technology.
3.3.1 Begin the installation by seamlessly placing the compressor base on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims under the base to attain perfect leveling of the unit.
Position these wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is precisely leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedges at multiple points, ideally 4 to 5.
The fabrication and installation of these wedges should be meticulously executed by the user, tailored to the specific requirements. Ensure that the contact surface is impeccably finished to achieve uniform contact along the inclined plane.
Please note, the bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's level. The leveling precision demands are as follows: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level must be 0.10/1000mm.
These specifications ensure optimal performance and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling alignment with precision. Before embarking on this alignment journey, ensure these prerequisites are met:
1) Disengage the main power supply for safety;
2) Remove the coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no debris or contaminants are present;
5) The motor's bolt hole should exceed the bolt's size, allowing for bolt loosening during motor adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, ensuring they are flat and free of contaminants. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Have the necessary bracket ready to support the dial indicator as depicted in the diagram;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for securing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe against the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines closely, adhering to specifications. The maximum outer circle deviation permissible is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, performing a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts;;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the unit's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operations or trial runs, loosen and then re-tighten these bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating component, demands vigilance to prevent solid or liquid ingress, which can cause critical damage. Ensure the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. For non-compliant pipelines, rectification is mandatory. We advocate the installation of solid-liquid separation devices, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, preceding the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Fasten the compressor inlet and outlet pipes securely. Ensure all import and export pipelines are equipped with relevant pipeline accessories as detailed in the PI diagram. Support the pipelines with an independent bracket, preventing any burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 With the main fan and auxiliary equipment firmly installed and the concrete fully set, proceed to conduct the compressor operation test for quality assurance.
