MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking, energy-saving technology that ingeniously reduces the need for external energy by skillfully reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle revolves around the compression of secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into valuable thermal energy. As a result, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam increase, enabling it to return to the evaporator. There, it efficiently heats materials, generating evaporation and creating a seamless cycle of latent heat of vaporization recycling for the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. With its intelligently compact structure, it ensures easy maintenance and operational convenience, making it an ideal choice for modern industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base centrally on its foundation. For precise leveling, insert wedge-shaped shims strategically beneath the base.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed to spot weld the irons at four to five strategic points.
The wedge irons should be crafted and securely installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions encountered. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for optimal contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity must adhere to a maximum of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ensure exact leveling. Meet the following standards: The axial level tolerance is 0.05 per 1000mm, while the horizontal level tolerance is 0.10 per 1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is perfectly centered. Prior to alignment, verify these critical points:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section cautiously;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring it is pristine and free from obstructions.
5) Confirm that each motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt itself, allowing for adjustments;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor’s foot. These must be flat, clean, and unsuitable gaskets should be avoided.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer.
8) Prepare the designated bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below.
9) Utilize a motor wheel hub bracket to position the dial indicator accurately on the edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Fine-tune using the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum deviation is 0.05mm and adjust coupling end face to 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess for outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Conclude by reinstalling the coupling’s intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, secure the anchor bolts. After the mechanical or trial operation, recheck and retighten the bolts to ensure integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed component, is vulnerable to damage from foreign solids or liquids. It's crucial that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are free from contaminants and meet system steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require modification.Add solid-liquid separation devices, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, adhering to the PI diagram for accessory placement. An external bracket must support the pipeline to avoid undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its auxiliary components, is securely installed and the concrete base fully cured, you're ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless functionality, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The electrical connections should be meticulously routed using threading pipes that are installed underground, maintaining a clean and efficient setup. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, proceed to connect the wiring terminals inside it to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a streamlined integration of the system.
