This innovative arrangement enables the rotor to be directly supported by an oil film bearing, allowing for direct drive by the high-speed motor. Notably, this advanced system operates without the need for a speed-increasing gearbox or cumbersome couplings, ensuring unparalleled efficiency and reliability in steam compression applications.
3.3.1 Begin by elegantly positioning the compressor base integrally upon its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, ensuring perfect alignment and flawless leveling.
To achieve impeccable stability, alternate the placement of twin wedge-shaped irons. Once leveled, secure them with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points, guaranteeing steadfast support.
Craft and install the wedges meticulously per the user’s unique requirements. Ensure that contact surfaces are impeccably finished for seamless engagement,
as the inclined plane contact must not exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain absolute alignment. The unit's leveling criteria require an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
while maintaining a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by following these essential prerequisites:
1) Securely disable the main power supply;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield for unimpeded access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with care;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for any unwelcome debris, ensuring it is pristine and unobstructed;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are adequately larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for precise adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot, ensuring they are free of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid the use of long, slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with a remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer themselves;
8) Organize a supportive bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub’s edge, positioning the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Skillfully adjust bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor centerline, adhering to prescribed instructions. The maximum deviation allowed is 0.05mm for the outer circle, and the coupling end face should range between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, and verify the outer circle runout alongside the end face runout of the coupling.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, install the coupling intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Once both 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are adjusted perfectly, tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operations or trial runs, loosen and retighten these bolts to reaffirm stability.
3.3.5 Being a high-speed marvel, the impeller demands protection from any invading solid or liquid to avert irreversible damage. Thus, ensure that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the esteemed steam corrosion standards. Non-compliance necessitates immediate correction. We recommend integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adorn the import-export pipelines with necessary accessories, as detailed in the PI diagram. Remember, support the connecting pipeline independently to avoid burdening the compressor body with additional weight.
3.3.7 Following the complete installation of the main fan and its auxiliaries, and once the concrete has fully cured, you may embark on the compressor operation test with confidence and precision.
