At its core, the principle is elegantly simple: the secondary steam emitted by the evaporator undergoes compression through a highly energy-efficient steam compressor. This process masterfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, culminating in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature propels this steam back to the evaporator, where it proficiently heats materials and triggers evaporation, thus achieving a sustainable cycle of recycling the latent heat from the secondary steam's vaporization.
The DML series, featuring the exemplary low temperature rise steam compressor, is a marvel of engineering excellence. At its heart, it boasts a meticulously designed compressor body, comprising components such as a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. This is seamlessly integrated with a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instruments, creating a harmonious blend of precision and innovation.
3.3.1 The compressor base, a pivotal component, should be meticulously positioned on the solid foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to precisely adjust the unit's level.
Place these wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld these wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge should be
manufactured and customized by the user to suit the specific scenario. Ensure the contact surface is impeccably finished, allowing for an even contact of the inclined
plane. It's crucial that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 For a flawless installation, employ a level to ascertain the unit's level. The unit's axial level precision is set at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level precision of the unit is at 0.10/1000mm—ensuring rigorous standards.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is imperative. Before commencing alignment, ensure these critical steps are completed:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane meticulously to ensure it is devoid of foreign materials, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size to allow for loosened adjustments of the motor positioning;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to fully support the motor feet. Gaskets must be attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the client);
8) Prepare a bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below for optimal support;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to securely position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge and place the dial indicator probe precisely on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines onto the same axis. The maximum allowed deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation constrained to 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts securely and review both the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision.;
12) After verifying a successful motor idling test, install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment have been adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten these bolts to guarantee stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, is sensitive to any solid or liquid ingress, which could cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, it is essential that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and adhere to stringent steam corrosion grades of the system. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe is strongly advised.
3.3.6 Effectively install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines linked to the compressor should be independently supported by another bracket, preventing any weight burden on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Upon the completion of the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment, and after the concrete has fully set, you are ready to embark on the critical phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This ensures optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and efficient functionality, the compressor's electric control cabinet must be strategically installed within a mere 5 meters of the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring is meticulously managed through threading pipes, which are to be routed underground for safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, establish a robust connection by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a flawless operational setup.
