The heated secondary steam is then returned to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials and promotes evaporation. This cyclical process brilliantly recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, maximizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, meticulously designed with several key components, including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an anti-surge control system. This compressor boasts a compact and thoughtfully engineered structure, making it incredibly convenient for maintenance and ensuring optimal performance at all times.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the unit's level with precision.
Place alternating wedge-shaped irons for optimal stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points for enhanced durability.
Users are encouraged to manufacture and install the wedges tailored to their specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surface is flawlessly finished for even pressure distribution across the inclined plane.

3.3.2 Employ a level to ensure superior alignment. Required precision levels include: an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling meticulously. Prior to initiating alignment, adhere to these prerequisite steps:
1) Ensure safety by switching off the main power supply;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield to access the components;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for a clear view;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any irregularities such as debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts to allow easy loosening and adjustment of the motor;
6) Have a sufficient supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's base. Avoid using long, thin gaskets which might compromise alignment;
7) Opt for a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy for precise measurements, to be sourced by the customer;
8) Prepare an appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator securely, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) For precision, utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, and align the indicator probe with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the motor feet adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, aiming for minimal deviation. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for accuracy;
12) Complete the process by reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section post motor idle testing.
3.3.4 After achieving impeccable levelness and alignment of the casing, anchor the bolts firmly. Post mechanical or trial operations, retighten the bolts for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from any solids or liquids to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure all pipelines connected are pristine and meet steam corrosion standards. Substandard pipelines demand immediate rectification.It is advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for optimal performance.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for pipeline accessory integration. Ensure that pipelines linked to the compressor are independently supported, avoiding any load on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment has been expertly completed, and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, you will then be ready to conduct the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. This setup requires the wiring to run underground, secured within threading pipes for protection. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, ensure to meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside the control cabinet to the lines of the remote DCS for flawless operation and control.
