The cornerstone of this advanced technology is to compress the secondary steam created in the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The newly risen temperature then channels the secondary steam back to the evaporator, heating the materials and consequently sparking evaporation. This innovative cycle masterfully recycles the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, creating an efficient and sustainable energy loop.
The oil-film high-speed direct drive steam compressor represents a pinnacle of turbine equipment technology, featuring a high-efficiency permanent magnet motor. At its core, the design incorporates an impeller that is seamlessly mounted at the motor's shaft extension end. With the rotor directly supported by an oil film bearing, this configuration achieves true direct drive through the high-speed motor, eliminating the necessity for cumbersome speed-increasing boxes and couplings. This streamlined and efficient design not only enhances performance but also optimizes energy use, reinforcing its role as a cutting-edge solution for industrial applications.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be seamlessly integrated onto the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit’s level.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld these wedges securely at 4 to 5 precise points.
The user must custom-manufacture and install the wedges based on specific circumstances. Ensure the contact surfaces are finely finished for smooth, even contact of the inclined
plane. Note that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve precision leveling using a reliable level tool. Adhere strictly to the leveling requirements: the axial level should remain within 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should maintain a precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following essential steps are completed:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Diligently remove the coupling shield;
3) Take out the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate section with care;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, ensuring there’s no foreign material, dirt, or debris;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolt size for effortless loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an adequate number of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. The gaskets must be free from attachments, perfectly flat, and avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (provided by the customer);
8) Have available the bracket required to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the wheel hub’s edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum allowable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly above the compressor’s low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to guarantee precision;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, securely install the coupling’s intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing’s 'levelness' and alignment are adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial runs, revisit and re-tighten the bolts for reinforced security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a precision high-speed rotating component; any solid or liquid ingress can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure connected inlet and outlet pipelines are impeccably clean and compatible with the system’s steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be upgraded. It’s recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet’s straight pipe.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to fit all necessary pipeline accessories. The pipelines linked to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, ensuring no weight is borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is completed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures the smooth and efficient functioning of the Direct Drive Oil-Film Steam Compressor for High-Speed Industrial Use.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, an essential component for seamless operations, should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously executed using a threading pipe that is routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely positioned, ensure to connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to guarantee optimal functionality.
