The core principle involves compressing the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process masterfully converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resulting temperature increase cycles the secondary steam back to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials and generates further evaporation. This ingenious method ensures the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, optimizing energy usage and enhancing sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a technological marvel, comprising a meticulously designed compressor body, a robust coupling, an advanced gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, sophisticated electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. This remarkable machinery boasts a compact structure, providing ease of maintenance and ensuring high performance. Its carefully crafted components work in harmony to deliver reliability and efficiency, making it a perfect choice for modern industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin the installation by placing the compressor's integrally-designed base meticulously on the foundation. To achieve the perfect balance, strategically position wedge-shaped shims underneath. These shims are crucial for adjusting the unit level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is level, proceed to spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points. This ensures stability and precision. It's essential that the
user custom manufactures and installs these wedges based on their unique circumstances. For optimal performance, the contact surfaces need to be impeccably smooth, ensuring full, even contact.
The incline plane needs to sustain a bearing capacity of no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Harness the precision of a level to ascertain true levelness. The unit's leveling standards are stringent: the axial level should not exceed a variance of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should maintain a precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Proceed to center the coupling. Prior to embarking on alignment, ensure the following essential steps are meticulously adhered to:
1) Ensure the primary power supply is securely turned off;
2) Detach and safely store the coupling shield;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Diligently inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, grime, or residues, ensuring a pristine surface;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for comprehensive adjustment of the motor positioning;
6) Accumulate an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to adequately cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must be impeccably clean and perfectly flat, avoiding long and slender gaskets that might compromise adjustment integrity;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter of 0.01mm precision (customer-provided);
8) Prepare and position the bracket needed to support the dial indicator as depicted in the schematic below;
9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to install a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with its probe placed on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for precise measurement;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated over the compressor low-speed shaft center line, observing a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, and coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively tighten the motor's foot bolts, then carefully assess and confirm the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling,;
12) After verifying motor idling, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section, ensuring seamless integration.
3.3.4 With 'levelness' and alignment precisely adjusted, secure the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operations or trials, it is vital to loosen and re-tighten these bolts to maintain stability and accuracy.
3.3.5 Due to the impeller's high-speed rotation, it is imperative to prevent any solid or liquid from entering, as it poses significant risk of irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, maintain pristine inlet and outlet pipelines conforming to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Should pipelines fail this standard, immediate rectification is required. It is stronglyrecommended to introduce solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor's inlet straight pipe to ensure operational integrity.
3.3.6 Proceed with the meticulous installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines incorporate the necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. It is critical that the compressor remains unburdened by the pipeline's weight, which should be supported by an alternative bracket.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved full solidification, it's time to embark on the exciting phase of testing the compressor's operational capabilities.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet, a crucial component of the compressor system, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to this cabinet must be expertly routed through a threading pipe, purposefully placed underground for durability and safety. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, ensure the wiring terminals within are seamlessly connected to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS).
