3.3.1 The compressor's foundational base is seamlessly integrated onto the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve impeccable leveling of the unit.
Place wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion, and upon leveling the unit, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring absolute stability. The wedges must be
manufactured and installed by the user as per the specific site conditions. It's crucial that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished, ensuring even contact across the inclined
plane. The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should never exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's absolute level. The unit's axial level must be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level at a precision of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is imperative. Prior to commencing alignment procedures, ensure adherence to the following critical prerequisites:
1) The main power supply must be switched off, ensuring complete safety;
2) The coupling shield must be carefully removed;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's devoid of any foreign matter, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size, allowing for bolt loosening to finely adjust the motor;
6) Prepare a sufficient stock of pristine stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's foot, ensuring they are devoid of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated and slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with an accuracy of 0.01mm, sourced by the customer;
8) Have a robust bracket ready for dial indicator support, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adeptly adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor along the same line, as per corresponding instructions. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and a coupling end face measurement of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts after alignment, and meticulously review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section after successfully conducting the motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or trial runs, it's crucial to loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 Given that the impeller is a high-speed rotating component, any intrusion of solid or liquid materials can cause severe damage to the compressor. Hence, it's vital to ensure that both the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are scrupulously clean and meet the system's stringent steam corrosion grade requirements. Any pipelines failing to meet these standards must undergo immediate rectification.It's advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet, ensuring protection and longevity.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. The import and export pipelines should be equipped with the necessary pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. It's crucial that the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, ensuring that their weight is not borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment have been precisely installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, you are ready to initiate the operation test of the compressor. This marks a significant milestone in ensuring the seamless functionality and reliability of your equipment.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Utilize threading pipes to smartly and securely channel the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet, with the pathway neatly concealed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, synchronize the wiring terminals within to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a cohesive and efficient operational system.
