The core principle involves the secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, being compressed by a high-efficiency steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature steam is then cycled back to the evaporator to heat materials and induce evaporation, achieving a seamless recycling of the latent heat of vaporization within the secondary steam.
The DML Series Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor showcases a sophisticated design and is primarily composed of several key components: the compressor body, which includes the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it features a coupling, motor, and advanced electric instrumentation. These elements work in harmony to deliver unparalleled efficiency and reliability in performance.
3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for leveling adjustments.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is leveled, spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 key points for stability. These wedges should be
crafted and installed based on the user's specific circumstances, ensuring a finished contact surface for even engagement of the inclined
plane. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Precisely level the unit using a reliable level tool. Adhere to leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling alignment with precision. Before commencement, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disengage the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate segment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness is free from debris, dirt, and foreign materials;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, facilitating bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Gather adequate stainless steel gaskets to align under the motor feet. Ensure the gaskets are clean and flat. Avoid using lengthy and slender gaskets in adjustments between motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with 0.01mm precision, as supplied by the customer;
8) Assemble the dial indicator support bracket as depicted below;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust motor foot bolts strategically to align the compressor and motor center lines. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle remains 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess runouts of the outer circle and coupling end face for precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After either regular or trial operation, release and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, as a high-speed rotating element, demands a clean environment. Any solid or liquid intrusion might irreparably harm the compressor. Thus, ensure the connecting pipelines meet steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require modification. Consider installing solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for fitting necessary pipeline accessories. Independently support the pipelines with an alternate bracket, ensuring no weight is borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with all its ancillary components are meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved complete solidification, you can proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that the Low Temperature Rise Compressor with Advanced Features is ready to deliver exceptional performance.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. It's imperative that the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is seamlessly connected via an underground threading pipe. Upon securing the electric control cabinet in its designated position, it is crucial to meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a flawless integration for superior operational control.
