The core principle lies in the process where the evaporator-generated secondary steam undergoes compression through a high-efficiency steam compressor. This transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, this heightened temperature feeds the secondary steam back to the evaporator, heating the materials and inducing further evaporation. This process beautifully exemplifies the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from secondary steam, epitomizing sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is meticulously engineered and primarily comprises the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electronic instruments, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. Its design is characterized by a compact structure, ensuring effortless maintenance and exceptional operational convenience.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically positioned beneath the base to facilitate precise leveling.
For optimal stability, alternate the placement of the wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is level. Spot weld the irons at 4-5 points for added security.
Users should tailor the manufacturing and installation of the wedge to their unique circumstances, ensuring the contact surface is finished to perfection for even contact on inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of the wedges must not exceed 40Kg/cm

3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve precise leveling. The unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level requirement is 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Align the coupling with meticulous precision. Prior to starting, ensure these critical prerequisites are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolt size to allow loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. They must be clean and flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator reliably as illustrated below;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to approximate alignment with the compressor, ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle (the motor shaft's center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts, then verify the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of casing 'levelness' and alignment, ensure the anchor bolts are tightly secured. After a mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten these bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, must remain free of any solid or liquid intrusions, which could inflict irreversible damage. Verify that the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade. Rectify any pipeline that fails to meet these standards.
It is advisable to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 For compressor inlet and outlet pipe installation, comply with the PI diagram's specifications for accessory integration. Ensure the pipelines are independently supported, without relying on the compressor body for weight-bearing.
3.3.7 Following the complete solidification of the concrete, which securely anchors the main fan and its auxiliary equipment, it is now time to embark on the pivotal compressor operation test. This crucial step in the installation process ensures that all components are in perfect harmony and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and efficient operation, the electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure stability and safety, the wiring that extends from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be meticulously routed through threading pipes, buried underground for maximum protection. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely placed, it is essential to expertly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, facilitating smooth and reliable communication.
