MVR, an abbreviation for mechanical vapor recompression, is at the forefront of energy-saving technologies. At its core, the MVR's principle is brilliantly simple yet effective: the evaporator's secondary steam undergoes compression via a high energy efficiency steam compressor. This transformative process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resultant thermal energy cycle returns the steam to the evaporator, heating materials to induce evaporation. This remarkable system achieves the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization, maximizing energy efficiency and resource optimization.
The Oil-film high-speed direct drive steam compressor stands as a marvel of turbine engineering, boasting the use of an advanced high efficiency permanent magnet motor. Its unique architecture features the impeller directly mounted at the shaft extension end of the motor. This design innovation allows the rotor to be directly supported by an oil film bearing, facilitating a seamless direct drive by the high-speed motor. Ingeniously eliminating the need for a speed-increasing box and coupling, this compressor embodies streamlined efficiency and cutting-edge technology.
3.3.1 Elegantly position the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Thoughtfully place wedge-shaped shims beneath (to meticulously adjust unit level),
employ alternating wedge-shaped irons. Once leveling is achieved, secure the irons with precise spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. The precision-crafted wedge must be
user-manufactured, tailored to real-world conditions, with a flawless contact surface ensuring even contact of the inclined
plane. Note, the wedge's bearing capacity should not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize precision leveling tools to ascertain perfect alignment. The meticulous leveling specifications are: axial precision at 0.05/1000mm, with horizontal
plane precision at 0.10/1000mm for impeccable unit performance.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling alignment is impeccable. Prior to commencing, confirm these essential prerequisites:
1) Safely disengage the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's middle section;
4) Diligently inspect the motor's installation surface for cleanliness, ensuring it is free from contaminants, dirt, and extraneous materials;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size to facilitate loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a generous supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets to underpin the motor. These gaskets must be devoid of impurities and sufficiently flat. Refrain from using elongated, thin gaskets for inserting between the motor and base;
7) Employ either a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Set up a sturdy support bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator on the hub's edge, placing the indicator probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Through methodical adjustment of the motor foot bolts, ensure the compressor and motor center lines are impeccably aligned, with a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. (The motor shaft center should tower above the compressor's low-speed shaft center), coupling end face precision of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, secure the motor foot bolts, meticulously reviewing the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling,;
12) Post-successful motor idling tests, seamlessly reinstall the coupling's middle section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving 'levelness' and impeccable alignment of the casing, promptly tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation (or trial run), loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity masterpiece, must remain pristine. Any intrusion of solids or liquids can inflict irreversible damage. Hence, ensure the connected inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculate and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short must be promptly rectified. We recommend implementing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines should be adorned with appropriate accessories per the PI diagram. Crucially, pipelines must be independently supported by a separate bracket, ensuring their weight is never borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and all its auxiliary components is complete, and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can commence the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and efficient functionality, position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Utilize threading pipes to establish a secure underground connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet. After placing the electric control cabinet, ensure to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating smooth and effective communication.
