The fundamental principle revolves around the process where the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, is adeptly compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This sophisticated process converts electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively increasing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, the elevated temperature of the secondary steam recirculates back to the evaporator, where it proficiently heats the materials and facilitates evaporation, ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, meticulously crafted to include a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. Its design is a testament to modern innovation, boasting a compact structure that ensures seamless maintenance and reliable performance.
3.3.1 To ensure seamless installation, the compressor base must be meticulously placed on the foundation. It’s important to strategically position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a precise unit level.
Position the wedge-shaped irons alternately; once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the irons by spot welding them at 4 to 5 points for stability.
These wedges must be custom manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions at hand. Ensure the contact surface is flawlessly finished for even contact of inclined planes,
maintaining a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm².2)
3.3.2 Precision leveling is critical. Use a level to ascertain the unit’s alignment. The axial level must adhere to a stringent 0.05/1000mm, while horizontally it should maintain a 0.10/1000mm accuracy.
3.3.3 Ensure the coupling is centrally aligned. Prior to commencing alignment, meticulously verify the following:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply for safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access internal components;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for unobstructed access;
4) Thoroughly inspect and clean the motor installation plane, ensuring it's devoid of debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing flexibility for motor adjustments by loosening bolts as necessary;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are clean, flat, and suitable for covering the motor foot. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustment between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Mount the motor wheel hub bracket for optimal placement of the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe is accurately positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines on the same trajectory. Ensure the outer circle's maximum deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft, and maintain the coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and diligently review the resulting outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for precision.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with confidence.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, anchor bolts must be tightened. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, as a high-speed rotating component, demands absolute protection. Any solid or liquid intrusion poses a threat of irreversible damage. It's imperative that the inlet and outlet pipelines adhere strictly to system specifications for steam corrosion resistance. Pipelines failing these standards require immediate rectification.Implementing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, upstream of the compressor inlet is highly recommended for optimal performance.
3.3.6 Ensure meticulous installation of the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to the PI diagram for precise accessory placement. The pipelines must be independently supported, preventing undue stress on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, the stage is set for an exhilarating compressor operation test to commence.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. Employ underground threading pipes for a seamless and secure connection of wiring from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the control cabinet is perfectly positioned, ensure a flawless connection by linking the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet to the remote DCS lines.
