The fundamental principle involves the secondary steam generated by the evaporator being efficiently compressed using a high-energy-efficiency steam compressor. This process adeptly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The increased temperature then returns the secondary steam to the evaporator, where it heats the materials and induces evaporation, thereby achieving a remarkable recycling of the secondary steam's latent heat of vaporization.
The DM Series Single-Stage Geared Steam Compressor is meticulously designed, comprising key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring both ease of maintenance and optimal performance, making it an ideal solution for efficient operations.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The installation of the compressor base is crucial for seamless operation. Place the base integrally on the foundation and strategically position wedge-shaped shims underneath. These shims are essential for achieving perfect leveling of your unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled. Secure these irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 points for stability.
Users are responsible for crafting and installing the wedge according to specific conditions. The contact surface must be finely finished to ensure even contact on the inclined plane.
The carrying capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to attain perfect levelness. Your unit's axial level must meet the precise requirement of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these standards for optimal operation.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with care. Before commencing alignment, verify these crucial prerequisites:
1) Completely power down the main supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield readying for the procedure;
3) Safely remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling for ease of access;
4) Assess the motor installation plane for any inconsistencies, guaranteeing it's free of foreign materials, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Make sure the motor bolt holes are adequately sized, larger than the bolts themselves, to allow easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have sufficient stainless steel gaskets prepared to provide stable support under the motor feet. These gaskets must be free of any attachments, perfectly flat, and avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and its base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer must procure;
8) Prepare a suitable bracket as depicted in the accompanying illustration to support the dial indicator effectively;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, ensuring precise placement of the probe on the compressor wheel hub's exterior.
10) By carefully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line as closely as possible, observing a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft center should be higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft). Maintain the coupling end face within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Finally, secure the motor foot bolts firmly and reassess both runout measures on the coupling's outer circle and end face for precision.;
12) Post motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section securely.
3.3.4 Once you have achieved optimal 'levelness' and precise alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run, it's essential to loosen and retighten the bolts to solidify the setup.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity rotating element, requires stringent protection. Any foreign solids or liquids entering can inflict irreversible damage. Hence, it is paramount to ensure cleanliness and compliance of the inlet and outlet pipelines with the system's steam corrosion grade. Should pipelines fall short, they must be duly rectified.
For enhanced preventive measures, integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipeline, is advised.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, adhere strictly to the PI diagram specifics. Pipelines should affiliate with appropriate accessories and should rest on a distinct support bracket, ensuring the compressor body bears no weight burden from them.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has achieved full solidification, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that all components are functioning harmoniously and efficiently, thus paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet for the compressor within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. This proximity facilitates seamless connectivity. Ensure the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is encased in underground threading pipes for protection and durability. After positioning the electric control cabinet, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a robust and reliable connection.
