The fundamental principle of MVR lies in the compression of secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, using a highly efficient steam compressor. This sophisticated process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, this elevated steam is redirected back to the evaporator, where it reheats the materials, facilitating a continuous cycle of evaporation. This cycle ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, thereby optimizing energy utilization.
The DM series Single-stage Geard Steam Compressor is a remarkable engineering marvel, composed of essential components such as a robust compressor body, durable coupling, advanced gearbox, efficient lubrication system, powerful motor, precision electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. This meticulously crafted system boasts a compact design that ensures ease of maintenance and seamless operation, making it a preferred choice for cutting-edge industrial applications.
3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base on the foundation, ensuring a perfect alignment with wedge-shaped shims placed beneath it. These shims are essential for adjusting to the ideal level of the unit.
Place the wedge-shaped irons alternately; after achieving the desired level, skillfully spot weld at 4~5 strategic points. The wedges should be wisely
manufactured and tailored by the user to fit the actual scenario, ensuring the contact surface is immaculately finished for even contact on the inclined
plane. The wedge iron must support no more than an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain perfect horizontality. The leveling excellence required for the unit is astounding: the axial level at 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable alignment of the coupling by centering it. Before proceeding with alignment, ensure these preparatory steps are meticulously followed:
1) Disengage the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is impeccably flat and free from any debris or dirt;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is generously larger than the bolt, allowing easy loosening for precise motor adjustment;
6) Have a sufficient stock of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's feet. They must be free of any attachments, perfectly flat, and avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a supreme accuracy of 0.01mm (this must be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a robust bracket as depicted in the accompanying diagram to support the dial indicator;
9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through careful adjustments of the motor feet bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines to perfection (or as instructed), ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is a mere 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face must be between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Upon completion, securely fasten the motor foot bolts and perform a meticulous review of the coupling's outer circle and end face runout;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving the perfect 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operations or trial runs, retighten after loosening them temporarily.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed rotating component. Any inadvertent entry of solids or liquids into the impeller will cause irreparable damage to the compressor. It is imperative to ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It is highlyrecommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with unmatched precision. Import and export pipelines must be equipped with appropriate accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. The pipeline attached to the compressor should be supported independently by a separate bracket to ensure the compressor body bears no unnecessary weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed, and the concrete foundations have reached complete solidification, you can embark on the critical step of conducting the compressor operation test. This ensures robust performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Ensure the electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically placed within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Utilize threading pipe for the wiring connection, which should be discreetly routed underground. Once positioned, the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet should be seamlessly connected with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring efficient and faultless operation.
