Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be carefully positioned on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically placed beneath the base to ensure it is perfectly level. This precise adjustment is crucial for optimal performance.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring the unit is impeccably leveled before spot welding the wedges at 4 to 5 points. This essential step guarantees stability.
These wedges are produced and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Their contact surfaces must be carefully finished to ensure even contact.
The inclined planes must meet exacting standards, with the wedge iron bearing a maximum load of only 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to establish exact horizontality. The unit’s axial level must be maintained at 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm.
Accurate leveling is foundational to the operational efficiency of the unit.

3.3.3 Ensure precise coupling alignment. Before alignment, adhere to the following critical prerequisites:
1) Safely shut off the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield to allow unhindered access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation's flatness, ensuring it is clear of debris, dirt, and foreign materials;
5) Verify that the motor's bolt holes are larger than the bolts for necessary adjustments;
6) Secure sufficient stainless steel gaskets to adequately support the motor feet. Gaskets must be clean and flat, avoiding long, thin ones that may cause imbalance.
7) Use a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm, ensuring customer preparation.
8) Ready the bracket shown in the accompanying illustration for the dial indicator;

9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator, positioning its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for precise alignment.
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to accurately align the compressor and motor centers, maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should always be higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face precision of 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, verifying the coupling's outer circle and end face runout to ensure unmatched precision.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post-motor idling test.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustment of casing alignment and levelness, secure the anchor bolts. After a successful mechanical or trial operation, re-tighten the bolts for added security.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation is critical; any solid or liquid intrusion can cause severe damage. Ensure all connecting pipelines are impeccably clean and meet the steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be promptly rectified.
Incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor inlet to maintain operational integrity.
3.3.6 Securely install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all pipelines adhere to the PI diagram specifications and are supported independently, not by the compressor body, to avoid undue strain.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This ensures a seamless integration and optimal performance of your system.
3.3.8 For optimal safety and functionality, ensure that the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter distance from the compressor. The wiring between the compressor and the control cabinet should be securely connected through a threading pipe, which is recommended to be installed underground for protection and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines for seamless communication and control.
