Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Seamlessly place the compressor base onto the foundation, positioning wedge-shaped shims beneath it to ensure optimal leveling of the unit.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once leveling is perfected, securely spot weld the irons at 4~5 points.
These wedges should be meticulously crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific situational demands. Ensure an impeccably finished contact surface,
where the inclined plane is evenly contacted. The wedge iron's load-bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to attain perfect alignment. The unit's axial level must meet the stringent requirement of 0.05/1000mm,
and its horizontal level must achieve 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Meticulously center the coupling. Before embarking on alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
1) Safely deactivate the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for any foreign matter, ensuring a pristine flatness;
5) Motor bolt holes must accommodate larger bolts to allow for adjustments by loosening;
6) Equip with an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fit beneath the motor's foot. Gaskets must be free of debris and perfectly flat, avoiding elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy, which the customer should prepare;
8) Secure a reliable bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the following illustration;

9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines meticulously. Ensure the outer circle deviation remains within 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, maintaining a coupling end face runout between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts and reassessing both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling;
12) Post motor idle testing, proceed with the installation of the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Following the precise adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, fasten the anchor bolts firmly. After mechanical or trial operations, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure durability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a component of high-velocity rotation, demands utmost caution. Any solid or liquid incursions can inflict irreparable damage to the compressor. Therefore, it’s imperative to maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the system's steam corrosion standards—pipelines falling short of these criteria necessitate urgent rectification. It's highly advisable to install solid-liquid separation apparatus, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.

3.3.6 Precisely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Integration of relevant pipeline accessories according to the PI diagram is crucial. Pipelines connecting to the compressor must have independent support to prevent the compressor body from bearing additional weight.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete has achieved full solidity, it is time to initiate the compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal step in ensuring the system's readiness for optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless connectivity, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The cabling should be meticulously threaded through underground pipes, creating a direct pathway from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it is crucial to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring robust and reliable system integration.
