This enhanced steam is then redirected back to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials, inducing further evaporation. Thus, it achieves an impressive recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, optimizing energy use and minimizing waste.
The DML Series Low Temperature Rise Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising several intricate components. At its heart lies the compressor body, featuring essential elements such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. It is seamlessly integrated with a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instruments, each meticulously designed to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Employ wedge-shaped shims underneath the base for precise leveling,
alternating between two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Users should
craft and position the wedges in accordance with actual conditions, ensuring the contact surface is finished for even pressure distribution
on the inclined plane. Note: The load capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use precision leveling tools to achieve the desired level. The unit must meet strict leveling standards: an axial deviation of 0.05/1000mm,
and a horizontal deviation of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 It is crucial to ensure the coupling is perfectly centered. Before proceeding with alignment, adhere to the following prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power supply entirely;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Examine the motor's installation surface for any debris, ensuring a clean and obstruction-free area;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to facilitate easy adjustment by loosening the bolts;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor feet, making sure they are flat and free of any contaminants. Avoid using elongated, slender gaskets for precision adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the specified bracket for supporting the dial indicator as illustrated;
9) The motor's wheel hub mounting bracket will assist in affixing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, allowing the probe to measure the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By finely adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the center lines of the compressor and motor. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft's center line remains above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, while the coupling's end face deviation is maintained within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Upon completion, firmly secure the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a satisfactory motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post 'levelness' and alignment adjustments of the casing, anchor bolts must be tightened. After mechanical trials or operations, these bolts should be loosened and tightened again for optimal security.
3.3.5 With the impeller being a high-speed component, preventing any solid or liquid from entering it is paramount to avoid irreversible damage. Ensure the cleanliness and compatibility of the inlet and outlet pipelines with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to install relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure that pipes connected to the compressor are supported independently on another bracket, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are meticulously installed, and the concrete has reached full solidity, it's time to embark on the compressor's operational testing phase. This crucial step ensures that the high-performance steam compressor is ready to deliver its unparalleled efficiency.
3.3.8 The compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Precision is key here, as wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet must be expertly connected through a threading pipe routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, the final connection involves linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring seamless operation and control.
