MVR (Mechanical Vapor Recompression) represents an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to significantly minimize the need for external energy sources. This impressive system ingeniously reutilizes the energy of secondary steam it generates. The core principle revolves around the secondary steam created by the evaporator being compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process adeptly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, this temperature rise facilitates the return of the secondary steam to the evaporator, where it plays a crucial role in heating the materials and inducing evaporation. Through this ingenious cycle, the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam is skillfully recycled, enhancing energy conservation.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is meticulously engineered and predominantly consists of a robust compressor body, which includes critical components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instruments, all working in harmony to deliver exceptional performance and reliability.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base securely on the foundation. To fine-tune the level of the unit, place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are essential for achieving the perfect level.
Place these wedge-shaped irons alternately. After ensuring the unit is perfectly leveled, proceed to spot weld these irons at 4 to 5 points. This strategic welding secures the leveling.
The user must craft and install the wedge according to specific requirements, ensuring that the contact surface is meticulously finished for even contact across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain precision. The unit's leveling requirements are exacting: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm are mandatory.

3.3.3 Perfect alignment of the coupling is critical. Prior to commencing alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Disengage the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness; ensure it is free from debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are appropriately larger than the bolt size to facilitate easy motor adjustment;
6) Prepare an adequate quantity of stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor feet. Gaskets must be free from any attachments and perfectly flat. Refrain from using long, thin gaskets for adjustment.
7) Employ either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (to be supplied by the customer);
8) Assemble the bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) The motor hub's mounting bracket is crucial for mounting a dial indicator around the wheel hub's edge, placing a probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor centerlines. The maximum deviation for the outer circle should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft centerline slightly elevated above the compressor low-speed shaft centerline. Coupling end face tolerance should be between 0.03 and 0.05mm;

11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts. Review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.
12) After a successful motor idling test, securely install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling adjustments, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial, loosen and re-tighten these bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, making it vital to prevent any solid or liquid incursion, which can irreparably damage the compressor. To ensure cleanliness, the inlet and outlet pipelines must comply with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 For the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram for relevant pipeline accessories. Support pipelines with a separate bracket to prevent their weight from bearing on the compressor body, ensuring stability and performance.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all related auxiliary equipment are securely installed and the concrete base has fully cured, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures the seamless integration and performance of your system.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet at a strategic distance of within 5 meters from the compressor. Use underground threading pipes to establish a secure connection from the compressor to the cabinet. Once the control cabinet is installed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a robust and efficient electrical setup.
