MVR, or mechanical vapor recompression, represents a groundbreaking energy-saving technology designed to drastically minimize the need for external energy sources by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle of MVR is quite elegant: secondary steam produced by the evaporator is skillfully compressed using a steam compressor with high energy efficiency, transforming electrical energy into thermal energy. This process elevates the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, which is then routed back to the evaporator. There, it heats the materials, prompting further evaporation and thereby facilitating the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization inherent in the secondary steam, leading to unparalleled efficiency.
Our DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, sophisticated electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This compressor is celebrated for its compact design, making it exceptionally easy to maintain, ensuring reliability, and optimal operation throughout its lifespan.
3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Ensure you place wedge-shaped shims under the base, which are instrumental in achieving the perfect unit level.
Expertly alternate two wedge-shaped irons for a successful leveling process. After leveling, secure the wedge-shaped irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 key points.
Users must manufacture and install the wedges based on the specific scenario, ensuring a perfectly finished contact surface for optimal evenness of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should carefully not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 To achieve precision, utilize a level to find the perfect level. The unit's axial level precision is set at 0.05/1000mm, with the horizontal level precision at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Begin by centering the coupling. Prioritize these essential requirements before starting alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring no foreign objects, dirt, or attachments disrupt the process;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is larger than the bolt size, allowing for loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Have enough stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor feet, keeping them attachment-free and flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with remarkable accuracy of 0.01mm, acquiring it yourself to ensure precision;
8) Have a suitable bracket ready to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By skillfully adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor centerline precisely. Ensure the outer circle's maximum deviation doesn't exceed 0.05mm, and the coupling end face deviation remains within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once alignment is achieved, tighten the motor foot bolts thoroughly, then reassess the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout for accuracy;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After the meticulous adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, decisively tighten the anchor bolts. During mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen and then retighten them for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, requires impeccable protection. Ensure no solid or liquid contaminants enter, as they could cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, the connected inlet and outlet pipelines must meet the strict steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate rectification. As a precautionary measure,consider adding solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Make sure to equip import and export pipelines with necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. Support pipeline weight using an independent bracket, avoiding unnecessary strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its supporting equipment has been meticulously completed and the concrete reaches its full curing potential, it's time to embark on the performance excellence journey by executing the compressor operation test. This ensures robust functionality and optimal efficiency of the system.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure seamless connectivity by threading the wiring through robust underground pipes, from the compressor to the control cabinet. Once the cabinet is perfectly stationed, expertly link the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the remote DCS lines, establishing a solid foundation for superior operational control.
