MVR, short for mechanical vapor recompression, stands as a pioneering energy-conservation technology designed to minimize external energy requirements. At its core, the MVR technology involves compressing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heated steam is then returned to the evaporator, enabling it to effectively heat materials and trigger further evaporation. Consequently, the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam is ingeniously recycled, offering a sustainable and efficient energy solution.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation, put wedge-shaped shim under the base (used to adjust the unit level),
place two wedge-shaped irons alternately, after leveling the unit, and spot weld the wedge-shaped irons for 4~5 points. The wedge shall be
manufactured and installed by the user according to the actual situation, and the contact surface shall be finished (even contact of inclined
plane, and the bearing capacity of wedge iron shall not be greater than 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Use a level to find the level. The leveling requirements of the unit: the axial level of the unit is 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal
level of the unit is 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Coupling is centered. Before starting alignment, confirm the following requirements:
1) Turn off the main power supply;
2) Remove the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Check the flatness of the motor installation plane to ensure that there are no stolen goods, dirt and attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should be larger than the bolt size, so that the bolt can be loosened to adjust the motor;
6) Prepare enough stainless steel gaskets to cover the foot of the motor, the gaskets should not have attachments and should be flat enough. You cannot use long and thin gaskets to insert between the motor and the base for adjustment;
7) Use a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (prepared by the customer himself);
8) Prepare the bracket for supporting the dial indicator as shown in the figure below;

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is used for mounting a dial indicator on the edge of the wheel hub, and placing a dial indicator probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By adjusting the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, the compressor and the motor center line are basically on the same line (or according to the corresponding instructions), and the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm (the motor shaft center line should be higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line), coupling end face 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts, and review the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Install the coupling intermediate section after the motor idling test.
3.3.4 After adjusting the "levelness" and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation (or trial operation), loosen the bolts and tighten them again.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high speed rotating component, and any solid or liquid entering impeller will cause irreversible damage to compressor. Therefore, it is necessary to ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected with compressor are clean and meet the requirements of steam corrosion grade of the system. Pipelines that do not meet this condition must be rectified. It is s
uggested to add solid liquid separation equipment (gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines shall be installed with relevant pipeline accessories according to PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor shall be supported by another bracket, and its weight shall not be supported by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, you are ready to embark on the crucial compressor operation test. This test marks a significant step towards ensuring optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor to ensure seamless connectivity. The wiring that connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be carefully routed through a threading pipe, which should be installed underground for safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, the next step involves connecting its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing system-wide integration and control.
