Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by strategically positioning the compressor base onto its foundation. Enhance stability by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure optimal leveling of the unit.
Skillfully alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring balance is achieved. Secure the wedge irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 points, crafting a firm foundation.
The user should meticulously manufacture and install the wedge to fit specific conditions, guaranteeing that the contact surface is finished for even distribution of weight.

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The axial and horizontal leveling standards are set at remarkable tolerances of 0.05/1000mm and 0.10/1000mm respectively.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling requires adherence to crucial preparatory steps:
1) Firstly, ensure the main power supply is switched off for safety;
2) Proceed to remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for any hindrances, ensuring a spotless surface;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size, allowing adjustment flexibility for optimal motor placement;
6) Amass an adequate supply of stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are pristine, flat, and free from impurities. Avoid inserting long or slender gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments;
7) Employ a precise dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with accuracy reaching 0.01mm, as provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the necessary support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) The motor's wheel hub mounting bracket should be equipped to hold a dial indicator at the edge, with its probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line, achieving maximum deviation of just 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft is slightly elevated compared to the compressor low-speed shaft, maintaining coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Once alignment is verified, securely fasten the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate both outer circle runout and coupling end face runout;;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section post-successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon achieving 'levelness' and alignment, proceed to firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical's initial operation or trial run, perform a re-tightening to cement stability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, ensure zero ingress of solids or liquids to avoid damage. Verify that all linked inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and align with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant lines require urgent rectification. Consider the strategic addition of solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, to the compressor inlet.

3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import/export pipelines are paired with correct accessories per the PI diagram. It's crucial that pipelines are supported independently, placing no load on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you are ready to initiate the operational test of the compressor. This crucial step ensures the readiness and efficiency of the Robust Watervapour Compressor for its role in the enhanced vanadium extraction and wastewater processing.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor is ideally positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal safety and efficiency, connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet using a threading pipe, which should be laid underground. After positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure seamless integration by connecting the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote DCS.
