Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To begin with, set the compressor base seamlessly on the foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precision leveling of the unit.
Strategically alternate the placement of wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure these irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 points.
Craft and install the wedges according to the specific requirements of the setting. Ensure the contact surface is refined for consistent contact of the inclined plane.
Bear in mind, the wedge iron must not exceed a bearing capacity of 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The standard leveling criteria: axial level of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prior to starting alignment, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Remove and set aside the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation surface to ensure it is free from debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, enabling bolt loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Have a sufficient supply of flat, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor's feet. Avoid using long or narrow gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with 0.01mm precision (supplied by customer);
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the diagram below;

9) Attach the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, positioning a dial indicator on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines closely (or follow specific instructions), ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should surpass the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviations ranging from 0.03 to 0.05mm.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then review the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout..
12) After performing a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are finely tuned, tighten the anchor bolts. After mechanical operation or a trial run, loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed component, is vulnerable to irreversible damage from foreign solids or liquids. Hence, ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require rectification.
It is recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to PI diagram specifications for pipeline accessories. Use an independent bracket to support the pipeline attached to the compressor, as its weight should not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supporting equipment are securely installed and the concrete foundation has achieved full strength, you may proceed to conduct the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that all components are functioning harmoniously, paving the way for efficient and reliable performance.
3.3.8 It is imperative that the electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius. The wiring that connects the compressor to the control cabinet must be routed through a protective threading pipe, ideally installed underground for added safety. Once the control cabinet is correctly positioned, be sure to skillfully interconnect the wiring terminals inside it with the lines extending to the remote DCS, ensuring seamless communication and control.
