MVR, which stands for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology designed to significantly minimize the need for external energy. This cutting-edge process harnesses the power of reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces. The fundamental principle behind MVR is that the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is compressed using a highly efficient steam compressor. This compression process ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy, consequently increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to be recycled back into the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and promoting evaporation. Through this sophisticated mechanism, MVR achieves the remarkable feat of recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, fostering an environmentally friendly and cost-effective solution for energy conservation.
The DM Series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering that primarily comprises the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design is characterized by a compact structure that ensures ease of maintenance and reliable performance. This thoughtfully engineered compressor offers a seamless integration of components, providing users with a robust and efficient solution to meet their industrial needs.
3.3.1 Begin by precisely positioning the compressor base directly onto the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve optimal leveling of the unit,
strategically positioning two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, apply spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points on the wedges. The wedges must be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions of the site. Ensure the contact surface is expertly finished to guarantee even engagement of the inclined
plane, keeping in mind that the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's balance. Adhere to these precision leveling criteria: the axial level must be within 0.05/1000mm, while
the horizontal plane should be no more than 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Proper alignment of the coupling is essential. Before beginning, ensure the following prerequisites are fulfilled:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Assess the motor installation plane's flatness, confirming it is free from foreign materials, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole diameter exceeds that of the bolt size to facilitate easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Have a sufficient stock of flat, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets to securely support the motor's footing. Avoid using elongated and slender gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a customer-provided laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm;
8) Prepare a stable bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Fit the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, placing the dial indicator probe on the outer edge for precise measurement of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts at the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely (or as per relevant directives), ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle does not exceed 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be positioned above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face range of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously check the coupling's outer circle and end face runout;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reattach the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment have been meticulously calibrated, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. After the initial mechanical run or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed component, and protection is paramount. Any solid or liquid infiltration can inflict irreversible harm to the compressor. Ensure the cleanliness of inlet and outlet pipelines and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must be promptly modified. It is stronglyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for optimal safety and performance.
3.3.6 Install the inlet and outlet pipes of the compressor attentively. Follow the PI diagram to integrate relevant pipeline accessories. The compressor should not bear the weight of the connected pipelines; use an independent support bracket for this purpose ensuring the system's integrity and reliability.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete structure has fully solidified, you are ready to commence the compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal step in ensuring the efficacy and reliability of the system, leading to optimal performance in wastewater treatment.
3.3.8 For seamless and efficient operation, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. Utilize threading pipe to securely connect the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet, ensuring it is routed underground for protection and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is expertly installed, establish connections between the wiring terminals in the cabinet and the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to integrate all components seamlessly.
