The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel, comprising a meticulously designed compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Securely position the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation, utilizing wedge-shaped shims underneath to finely adjust the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately beneath the unit, and once perfectly leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 points. The manufacturing and installation of these wedges are the user's responsibility.
Ensure the contact surfaces are precisely finished for even contact of the inclined plane, and the wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to establish the unit's level. The critical leveling specifications are: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Precise alignment of the coupling is essential. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following steps are meticulously followed:
1) Disconnect the primary power source;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any debris and ensure cleanliness and flatness;
5) Confirm motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, allowing bolt loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's base. Ensure gaskets are free of debris and flat, avoiding long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Set up the supporting bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement on the compressor's wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By adjusting the motor feet's bolts, align the motor and compressor center lines. The maximum deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section after conducting a motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and casing alignment, secure anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, release and retighten these bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands that no solids or liquids enter to avoid compressor damage. Ensure cleanliness and compliance with steam corrosion grade requirements for inlet and outlet pipelines. If standards aren't met, perform necessary rectifications. Implement solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Precisely install compressor inlet and outlet pipes, adhering to the PI diagram for related accessories. Ensure external support for pipelines to prevent any weight stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the complete installation of the main fan and auxiliary equipment and full concrete curing, proceed with a comprehensive compressor operation test.
