3.3.1 To achieve the pinnacle of efficiency with your Steam Compressor featuring an Overall Base and Guide Vane Adjustment from NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD, ensure that the compressor base is mounted integrally on a secure, stable foundation. Expertly position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust and achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons in a skillful alternating order. Once optimal leveling is reached, precisely spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 specific points. These wedges are custom-crafted and installed by the user, based on unique conditions, ensuring a smooth contact surface that equally distributes force.
The contact surface must be meticulously finished for flawless contact with the inclined plane. It's essential to ensure the maximum bearing capacity of the wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm².
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to establish the unit's level meticulously. The stringent leveling standards dictate that the axial level of the unit aligns at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is set at 0.10/1000mm to ensure unmatched precision.
3.3.3 To achieve perfect coupling alignment, adhere to these vital steps:
1) For maximum safety, ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components;
3) Precisely detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for inspection;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is clean and devoid of any foreign materials;
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, allowing bolt loosening for necessary motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient supply of premium stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base. These gaskets should be perfectly flat, without any attachments, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robustly crafted bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the provided diagram;
9) Securely mount a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge using the motor wheel hub mounting bracket, positioning the dial indicator probe on the outer rim of the compressor wheel hub;
10) With deft precision, adjust the motor feet's adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximal deviation of the outer circle should not exceed 0.05mm. Elevate the motor shaft center line slightly relative to the compressor low-speed shaft center line, maintaining the coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Finish by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and critically review the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling for optimal alignment.
12) After successfully conducting motor idling tests, proceed with installing the coupling intermediate section to ensure seamless and smooth operation.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are meticulously adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts to maintain secured stability. Post mechanical or trial operation, it is essential to loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure sustained reliability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed rotating part, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid intrusion, which could cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Pipelines that do not comply must undergo essential rectifications.It is highly recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment—such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—prior to the straight pipe leading to the compressor's inlet, to ensure the integrity and longevity of the system.
3.3.6 Begin the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Be sure that the import and export pipelines are adorned with essential pipeline accessories as illustrated in the PI diagram. It is absolutely essential to ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is underpinned by a distinct and sturdy bracket, thus safeguarding the compressor body from bearing any unnecessary weight. This not only ensures optimal performance but also enhances longevity, allowing for seamless operation.
3.3.7 Upon the meticulous installation of the main fan and its associated equipment, and with the concrete foundation having reached complete solidity, you are now poised to enter the exhilarating phase of executing a compressor operation test. This pivotal step is paramount in confirming that every component is in flawless working condition, thereby ensuring the highest level of efficacy and reliability.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Employ a robust threading pipe to effortlessly connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring it is neatly and securely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, proceed with precision to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thereby establishing a strong and dependable control link that guarantees seamless operation and control.
