This is achieved by skillfully reusing the secondary steam energy that the system itself generates. The core principle involves compressing secondary steam produced by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an increase in both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials, causing them to evaporate. This clever cycle ensures the recycling of latent heat from the vaporization of secondary steam, maximizing energy efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is meticulously engineered to include several integral components: a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. This design ensures a compact structure that is not only efficient but also remarkably easy to maintain. 3.3.1 To initiate the installation of the compressor base, place it integrally on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit's balance is achieved. Securely spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for stability. These wedges should be
crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to their specific circumstances. Ensure that the contact surface is expertly finished, allowing even contact of the inclined
planes. The wedge iron must possess a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2. Such precision ensures optimal functionality.
3.3.2 Achieve perfect leveling using a reliable level. The unit's leveling requirements are meticulous: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must adhere to 0.10/1000mm. This guarantees stability and performance.
3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is precisely centered is critical. Before beginning alignment, confirm the following essential steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, allowing for necessary loosening to adjust the motor accordingly;
6) Ensure you have sufficient stainless steel gaskets to completely cover the motor's foot. These gaskets should be clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a precise laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the diagram below;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator on the edge of the wheel hub, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to ensure thorough alignment of the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Finally, meticulously tighten the motor foot bolts, conducting a thorough review of the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling
12) After conducting the motor idling test, securely install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon successfully adjusting both the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, it is crucial to tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen these bolts slightly and retighten them to ensure continued structural integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, and any intrusion of solids or liquids can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. It is imperative to maintain the cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, ensuring they adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Should pipelines fall short of this standard, rectification is mandatory. It is highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to prevent such occurrences.
3.3.6 Proper installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes is vital. Import and export pipelines must be fitted with the appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The weight of pipelines linked to the compressor should be independently supported by another bracket and not rely on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with all its supporting equipment is securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, you are ready to proceed with the all-important compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures everything is functioning perfectly before full-scale operations commence.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance and safety, the compressor's electric control cabinet should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to the control cabinet must be meticulously laid underground through a threading pipe. Once your electric control cabinet is perfectly settled, it's time to seamlessly connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless communication pathway.
