The core principle centers around the secondary steam generated by the evaporator; this steam is efficiently compressed using a high-performance steam compressor to transform electrical energy into thermal energy. Consequently, both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated, allowing it to return to the evaporator to effectively heat materials and induce evaporation. This remarkable process enables the recycling of the latent heat during the vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring integral components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance, while delivering robust performance.
3.3.1 Embrace a robust foundation by placing the compressor base integrally on it. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath to fine-tune the level. These precision-crafted wedges serve to elevate precision, ensuring your unit achieves impeccable balance.
Interweave two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is expertly leveled, secure the wedges with spot welds at 4 to 5 distinct points, yielding a steadfast foundation.
Fabricate and position the wedges in alignment with your unique on-site conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished to guarantee seamless interaction and efficient weight distribution.
The wedge iron's capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm², to uphold the durability and integrity of the entire system.2).
3.3.2 Achieve unparalleled precision with the use of a level. The unit's leveling standards demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect harmony by centering the coupling. Before you embark on this crucial alignment journey, ensure these prerequisites are met:
1) Securely disengage the main power supply for safety and precision;
2) Unveil the coupling by removing its protective shield, laying the groundwork for further adjustments;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to access the core components for precise alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor's installation plane to eradicate any debris, dirt, or foreign materials that might impede alignment;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are generously larger than the bolts themselves, facilitating easy adjustments for flawless alignment;
6) Stock up on sufficient, pristine stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot without resorting to suboptimal long, thin gaskets;
7) Deploy a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, to achieve unparalleled alignment precision.
8) Ready the essential bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket to strategically position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, enabling meticulous observation of the compressor hub's outer edge.
10) Harmonize the motor and compressor by adjusting the motor feet's bolts, ensuring the center lines align perfectly, with deviations not exceeding 0.05mm. Maintain a slight elevation of the motor shaft center line above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, while coupling end face deviations remain within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude with the secure tightening of the motor foot bolts, then review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for supreme accuracy.;
12) Finalize the process by reinstalling the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section post-motor idling test, securing the setup.
3.3.4 Once the unit's "levelness" and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. Post-operation or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts to maintain steadfast stability.
3.3.5 Protect the high-speed rotating impeller from undue harm by ensuring no solid or liquid intrudes. Guarantee pristine cleanliness of all connected inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the system's steam corrosion grade.For pipelines falling short of these standards, rectification is imperative. Incorporate solid-liquid separation systems, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe to safeguard operations.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, accompanying them with pertinent accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. Support the pipeline with independent brackets, ensuring the compressor bears no weight burden.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached its full strength, the system is primed and ready for the commencement of the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that everything operates smoothly and effectively, setting the stage for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To maintain a seamless connection, the wiring that links the compressor to this cabinet should be skillfully routed through threading pipes, which are ideally placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely installed, it's imperative to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a reliable and efficient communication pathway.
