3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Ensure stability by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base. These shims are essential for achieving a perfectly level unit.
Skillfully alternate two wedge-shaped irons and, once the unit is leveled, apply spot welds at 4-5 points to secure them. These wedges must be customized to fit the specific situation, ensuring precision and stability.
The user should manufacture and install the wedges based on their individual requirements. The contact surface must be finished to ensure even and effective contact, maintaining a load-bearing capacity that does not exceed 40Kg/cm.
This attention to detail in the wedge's design guarantees that the inclined plane remains stable and secure.2).
3.3.2 Employ a level for precise leveling. The unit must meet high standards, with an axial level accuracy of 0.05 per 1000mm and a horizontal level not exceeding 0.10 per 1000mm.
These exacting standards ensure optimal performance and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Prior to alignment, verify the following essential requirements:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply to avoid any electrical hazards;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the necessary components;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for thorough inspection;
4) Rigorously check the motor installation plane for any debris, ensuring a clean and flawless surface;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts for easy adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets, ensuring they are free of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which must be customer-supplied, for accurate measurements;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the provided figure;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to strategically position a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through precise adjustments of bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Maintain a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. Maintain coupling end face deviation between 0.03 to 0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for ensured precision.;
12) Post motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to ensure everything is functioning seamlessly.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial runs, re-loosen and then retighten bolts for maximum stability and security.
3.3.5 Recognize the impeller as a high-speed rotating element. Any foreign solid or liquid may inflict irreparable damage. Therefore, maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification.It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to prevent potential damage.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all pipelines adhere to the PI diagram specifications. Support pipelines with independent brackets to prevent undue stress on the compressor body, preserving its integrity and functionality.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has completely solidified into a durable foundation, the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test can commence, marking a pivotal step in ensuring full operational excellence.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and seamless connectivity, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The intricate wiring journey from the compressor to its control cabinet should be elegantly guided through a threading pipe, carefully routed underground. Upon the electric control cabinet's precise installation, ensure a flawless connection by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, establishing a robust and efficient control network.
