3.3.1 To ensure the utmost efficiency and stability of your High-Speed Direct Drive Compressor, seamlessly place the compressor base on the foundation. Use precision-engineered wedge-shaped shims under the base for perfect leveling.
Expertly arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is flawlessly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring total stability. These wedges should be
produced and positioned by you, tailored to your unique requirements. Ensure the contact surfaces are impeccably finished to guarantee uniform contact on the inclined plane.
The wedges must exhibit a bearing capacity not exceeding an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Attain ultimate precision with a leveler. For the unit's leveling standards: achieve an axial level of a stellar 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
level of a remarkable 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment with meticulous attention to detail. Before embarking on the alignment process, ensure that you adhere to the following essential requirements:
1) Ensure complete safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully detach the coupling shield for unobstructed access;
3) Diligently remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section for precise alignment;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness to eliminate any debris or undesired substances that could impede performance;
5) The motor bolt hole should surpass the bolt size, allowing the bolt to be smoothly loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Ensure you have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's foot. These gaskets must be pristine and flat, avoiding long and thin gaskets that might cause instability;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, as procured by the customer;
8) Ready the specialized bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) The motor wheel hub bracket serves as the perfect mount for a dial indicator on the wheel hub edge, allowing the indicator probe to be ideally positioned on the outer compressor wheel hub edge;
10) By expertly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line to precision, adhering to guidelines or corresponding instructions. The maximum outer circle deviation should be a minute 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center higher than the compressor low-speed shaft. Coupling end face deviation should lie within the 0.03~0.05mm range;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling for optimum reliability;
12) Proceed to install the coupling intermediate section following successful motor idling verification.
3.3.4 After attaining impeccable 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. Post mechanical operation or trial operation, loosen and re-tighten the bolts to ensure steadfast security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands absolute cleanliness to avoid irreversible damage. Guarantee pristine inlet and outlet pipelines that meet the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must be immediately rectified. Consider incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the compressor's straight pipe inlet for added protection.
3.3.6 Ensure superior installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Install relevant pipeline accessories per the PI diagram specifications. The pipelines should be independently supported by another bracket, as they must not impose any weight upon the compressor body for sustained performance.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the operation test of the compressor. This crucial step ensures that everything is in optimal working condition, paving the way for efficient and reliable performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and efficient management, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To ensure a secure and concealed connection, threading pipes should be employed for the wiring, which should be routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is installed, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring flawless communication and control.
