3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. Carefully insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure optimal leveling of the unit.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons for stabilization. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 points. Tailor the wedges to the specific requirements of your installation scenario.
Ensure that the contact surface is meticulously finished to guarantee uniform contact with the inclined plane, facilitating a robust foundation.
Note that the wedge iron is designed to support a maximum load of 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve perfect alignment. The unit's leveling criteria are as follows: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level must be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Proceed to center the coupling with accuracy. Before embarking on alignment, ensure the subsequent prerequisites are met:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling efficiently;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane to confirm it is free from debris and contaminants;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are ample compared to the bolt size to facilitate easy adjustments;
6) Prepare an adequate number of stainless steel gaskets. These gaskets must be pristine and perfectly flat, avoiding any elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be sourced by the customer.
8) Arrange the bracket for supporting the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying figure;
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, placing its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for accurate measurement.
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines meticulously. Aim for an outer circle deviation of no more than 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line remains slightly higher than that of the compressor's low-speed shaft. Maintain coupling end face misalignment within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once alignment is satisfactory, secure the motor foot bolts and re-evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for precision.;
12) After running an idling test on the motor, reinstall the coupling intermediate section to complete the setup.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following a successful mechanical operation or trial, release and retighten these bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller operates at high speeds, it is crucial to prevent any solid or liquid ingress which could irreparably harm the compressor. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion standards. Pipelines not meeting these standards must be promptly rectified.It is highly recommended to install separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, at the compressor inlet to segregate solids and liquids effectively.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that all relevant pipeline accessories are fitted as per the PI diagram specifications. Furthermore, the pipeline must be independently supported by an additional bracket, ensuring that the compressor body bears no undue weight.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete has achieved full solidity, we can proceed to the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself.
