MVR, an abbreviation for mechanical vapor recompression, is a state-of-the-art energy-saving technology designed to significantly minimize the reliance on external energy sources by ingeniously reusing the energy of secondary steam it produces. At its core, the technology involves compressing the secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process impressively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, this temperature elevation allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials and induces evaporation, ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, primarily comprising essential components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring that maintenance is both straightforward and convenient, making it an ideal choice for streamlined operations.
3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base integrally upon the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adeptly adjust the unit's level.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons. After achieving levelness, ensure to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons securely at 4 to 5 key points. Take note that the wedge must be
custom-made and installed by the user based on specific requirements, ensuring a flawless contact surface with even contact along the inclined
plane. The load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron should be maintained below 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ensure complete precision in leveling. The unit's leveling specifications are stringent: axial level precision is 0.05/1000mm, with horizontal
level precision being 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Next, center the coupling. Before embarking on alignment, adhere to the following preliminary steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Proceed to safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane's flatness to confirm it is free of debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole surpasses the bolt size, allowing bolts to be loosened for motor adjustments;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to fit the motor's foot, ensuring they are attachment-free and impeccably flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and the base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which the customer should provide;
8) Secure the bracket for supporting the dial indicator as depicted in the diagram below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to place a dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning its probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By thoughtfully adjusting bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line, aiming for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (with the motor shaft center line above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclusively, tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reattach the coupling's intermediate section post successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are perfected, securely tighten the anchor bolts. Following the mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating marvel, and any solid or liquid intrusion can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Hence, it is imperative that the inlet and outlet pipelines interfacing with the compressor are pristine and adhere to the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system. Pipelines falling short must be rectified without delay. Werecommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with the appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connecting to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supportive ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached complete solidification, the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test can commence. This step is crucial in ensuring the flawless performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The compressor's electric control cabinet needs to be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. To achieve a neat and efficient connection, the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet should be skillfully laid underground using threading pipes. Upon securing the electric control cabinet in its designated position, make sure to seamlessly link the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring smooth and uninterrupted communication.
