3.3.1 Seamlessly secure your compressor's foundation by placing the integrally-geared base upon it. Slip wedge-shaped shims beneath to achieve perfect levelling.
Expertly alternate these wedges to ensure a precise level, then spot weld them securely at 4 to 5 points.
The user is responsible for crafting and fitting the wedges to match the unique conditions, ensuring that all contact surfaces are immaculately finished.
Be mindful that the inclined plane should demonstrate seamless contact, with the iron's bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2.)
3.3.2 Achieve unparalleled precision using a level, with unit axial and horizontal level requirements set at 0.05/1000mm and 0.10/1000mm respectively.
3.3.3 Ensure impeccable alignment of the coupling. Prior to commencing, verify these essential preparatory steps:
1) Securely disable the main power supply;
2) Carefully detach the coupling shield;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt sizes, facilitating adjustments;
6) Arm yourself with stainless steel gaskets, meticulously flat and devoid of any attachments. Avoid long and thin gaskets between motor and base;
7) Equip yourself with a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy (customer provided);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement at the wheel hub's edge, probing the compressor's hub outer edge;
10) Adjust motor feet bolts such that the compressor and motor centers align, ensuring maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with coupling end face adherence to 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely fasten motor foot bolts, then scrutinize outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal levelness and alignment of the casing, anchor bolts must be tightened. Post mechanical or trial operation, retighten after loosening for added security.
3.3.5 Protect the high-speed rotating impeller from any solid or liquid intrusion, as they can cause irreversible damage. Ensure all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet system steam corrosion standards.Rectify any non-compliant pipelines. It's recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or a sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Precisely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to equip import and export pipelines with necessary accessories. Support these pipelines with separate brackets, preventing undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary apparatus have been meticulously installed and the foundational concrete has achieved full solidity, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This marks a vital phase in ensuring the seamless functioning of the Integrally Geared Steam Compressor with Advanced Speed Regulation.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the unit. Utilize threading pipes for the wiring that extends from the compressor to the control cabinet, ensuring these conduits are securely routed underground. After situating the electric control cabinet, meticulously connect its wiring terminals with the corresponding lines at the remote DCS, establishing an efficient communication and control link.
