At its core, the principle involves the secondary steam produced by the evaporator being compressed with a high-energy-efficiency steam compressor. This process marvelously converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This elevated temperature allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, efficiently heating the materials and facilitating further evaporation. This sophisticated method masterfully realizes the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, encompassing a comprehensive system that includes the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electrical instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Designed with a compact structure, it offers exceptional convenience for maintenance, making it a truly reliable and efficient solution for various industrial applications.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base securely on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Strategically position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, ensure durability by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at four to five strategic points.
The wedges are to be meticulously crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the unit's specific requirements. Ensure the contact surfaces are perfectly finished, allowing for smooth and uniform contact with the inclined plane.
The wedges should never bear a load exceeding a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain absolute levelness. Adhere to the following leveling standards: the axial level must be a precise 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures superior performance and longevity of the compressor unit.
3.3.3 Perfectly center the coupling. Prior to embarking on alignment, ensure these essential steps are taken:
1) Safely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane to guarantee it is impeccably clean, devoid of any debris or attachments;
5) Design motor bolt holes larger than the bolts themselves, facilitating easy loosening and precise motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready, ensuring they maintain a pristine condition, and avoid using elongated, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments.
7) Utilize either a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a robust bracket as illustrated below to support the dial indicator;
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor hub bracket, positioning the probe precisely on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines closely, aiming for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, then meticulously verify the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment, proceed to firmly fasten the anchor bolts. After conducting a test run or operational trial, loosen and retighten the bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed rotating component, it is imperative to ensure that no solid or liquid materials infiltrate, as they may cause irreversible damage. Therefore, verify that inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculately clean and conform to the system's specified steam corrosion standards.It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, upstream of the compressor's inlet straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipelines. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with the requisite pipeline accessories, in accordance with the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket to prevent any undue weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supplementary apparatus have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it's time to proceed to the exhilarating compressor operation test! This crucial phase ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's sophisticated electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To maintain a sleek and unobtrusive setup, utilize threading pipes to expertly guide the wiring underground. Subsequently, upon the precise placement of the electric control cabinet, seamlessly integrate the wiring terminals with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a harmonious connection.
