By leveraging a highly efficient steam compressor, this steam is compressed to convert electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature. The magic happens when this elevated temperature and pressure allow the secondary steam to return triumphantly to the evaporator. Here, it serves a dual purpose—heating the materials and generating additional evaporation. This process not only exemplifies recycling at its finest but ingeniously harnesses the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, pushing the boundaries of energy efficiency to new heights.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, skillfully designed to include key components such as the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and a state-of-the-art anti-surge control system. It boasts a compact and robust structure, making it incredibly convenient for maintenance while ensuring peak performance and reliability. This compressor stands as a testament to precision engineering and thoughtful design, crafted to seamlessly integrate into your operations and deliver exceptional results.
3.3.1 The compressor base should be precisely positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure perfect leveling. These shims are vital for achieving a balanced unit.
Once you achieve the desired level, alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. Secure them with precision by spot welding at 4 to 5 points. These wedges should be crafted to match your specific requirements.
With attention to detail, manufacture and install the wedges based on your actual conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are flawlessly finished to allow for even pressure distribution.
The wedge iron must withstand a weight of no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level for impeccable precision. The unit's leveling criteria demand the axial level to be 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level to be 0.10/1000mm. Achieve perfection in positioning!
This meticulous leveling ensures optimal operational efficiency and longevity of the unit.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to these essential steps:
1) Ensure complete safety by turning off the main power supply.
2) Remove the coupling shield carefully to access the internal components.
3) Proceed to remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments, ensuring a pristine surface.
5) The motor bolt hole should exceed the size of the bolt, allowing for easy adjustments during motor positioning.
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's base. These gaskets should be free from any contaminants and perfectly flat to avoid using long, thin gaskets for fine adjustments.
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm to achieve perfect alignment.
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure.
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator accurately on the edge of the wheel hub, ensuring precise measurements on the compressor's wheel hub.
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to perfection. The maximum allowable deviation is 0.05mm on the outer circle (ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), with coupling end face deviation between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and verify the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test to ensure seamless operation.
3.3.4 Post-leveling and alignment, firmly fasten the anchor bolts. After a successful mechanical operation or trial run, release the bolts, re-tighten to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, is vulnerable to damage from foreign solid or liquid intrusions. It's imperative to maintain pristine conditions in the inlet and outlet pipelines, ensuring they meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Immediate rectification is required for any pipelines that fall short of these criteria.Consider incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor's inlet straight pipe to enhance performance.
3.3.6 For optimal function, meticulously install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to equip import and export pipelines with the necessary accessories. Ensure these pipes are independently supported by separate brackets, preventing any stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the robust main fan and all its essential auxiliary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete has reached full solidification, you can proceed with confidence to the compressor operation test. This is a vital step to ensure optimal functionality and performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration of the Advanced Steam Compressor system, install the electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter proximity to the compressor. The wiring should be expertly routed through threading pipes, strategically laid underground for safety and efficiency. After positioning the electric control cabinet, ensure that the wiring terminals are precisely connected to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a flawless communication pathway.
