Its construction includes several key components such as a robust compressor body, which features elements like the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instrumentation. Each component is crafted to work in harmony, providing a seamless and efficient operation that exemplifies modern technological advancement.
3.3.1 Seamlessly secure the integrally placed compressor base upon its foundation. Incorporate precision wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune and achieve impeccable unit leveling.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, securely spot weld these irons at four to five strategic points.
The design and installation of the wedge should be tailored by the user to match the specific conditions, ensuring a meticulously finished contact surface.
The inclined plane must make uniform contact, with wedge iron bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the absolute level. Criteria for leveling include an axial precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal precision of 0.10/1000mm.
The adherence to these stringent requirements ensures flawless operation.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with utmost precision. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply entirely;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield with due diligence;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring an absence of debris, dirt, and any extraneous attachments;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than bolt sizes to facilitate effortless motor adjustments;
6) Have a sufficient reserve of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor foot. These must be devoid of attachments and impeccably flat. Avoid using elongated thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket for the dial indicator support, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By meticulous adjustment of the motor feet's bolts, align the compressor and motor center line, adhering to a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is higher than that of the compressor's low-speed shaft, and maintain coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess to confirm the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling are within desired parameters;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Subsequent to achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, ensure the anchor bolts are rigorously tightened. Post mechanical operation or trial, slacken and retighten the bolts for maximum security.
3.3.5 Safeguard the high-speed rotating impeller from any solid or liquid intrusion, as this can inflict irreversible damage. Maintain ultra-clean inlet and outlet pipelines meeting the system's steam corrosion standards. Rectify any deviation by incorporating solid-liquid separation solutions, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Execute the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure all pipelines are equipped with pertinent accessories per the PI diagram. Support pipelines with independent brackets to prevent any undue burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Following the installation and complete curing of the main fan and ancillary equipment's concrete base, proceed with the compressor operation test.
