At its core, the remarkable process involves compressing secondary steam, which is generated by the evaporator, using an exceptionally efficient steam compressor. This compression artfully transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resulting temperature increase allows the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials, prompting evaporation. This cycle ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, epitomizing sustainable energy usage.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is an engineering marvel, meticulously crafted and comprising a cohesive assembly of components. It boasts a robust compressor body, featuring the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and precise seals. Complementing this are the coupling and motor, which together form the heart of the system, while advanced electric instruments complete the sophisticated ensemble.
3.3.1 Gracefully place the compressor base seamlessly onto its designated foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust the unit's level, ensuring precision.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is meticulously leveled, secure the wedge-shaped irons by spot welding them at 4 to 5 strategic points. Ensure the wedges
are crafted and installed by the user, reflecting the actual situational needs. The contact surface should be impeccably finished to guarantee uniform contact along the inclined plane,
ensuring the bearing capacity doesn't exceed a robust 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's precision. The axial level demands a meticulous 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level requires a precise 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Align the coupling with finesse. Prior to embarking on alignment, ensure the following prerequisites are met seamlessly:
1) Power down the main power supply with confidence;
2) Effortlessly remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it remains free of any foreign objects, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size, allowing loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to flawlessly cover the motor's feet. These gaskets must be pristine, flat, and robust, avoiding the use of lengthy, slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an exactitude of 0.01mm, prepared personally by the customer;
8) Ready a bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the subsequent figure;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge, situating the dial indicator probe along the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor's foot bolts, aligning the compressor and motor center lines with utmost precision, maintaining a maximal deviation of 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line transcends the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face ranging from 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Ultimately, secure the motor foot bolts, diligently reassessing the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts.;
12) Gracefully reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idle test.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustments of "levelness" and alignment of the casing, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, or trial operation, unfasten and retighten the bolts for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain pristine as any foreign solid or liquid ingress could inflict irreversible harm on the compressor. Ensure the integrity of the inlet and outlet pipelines connecting to the compressor, meeting the esteemed steam corrosion grade requirements. Rectify any non-compliant pipelines. We recommend installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Elegantly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Equip import and export pipelines with relevant accessories per the PI diagram. The pipeline interfacing with the compressor should be supported by an auxiliary bracket, thus relieving the compressor body from bearing its weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete base has reached complete solidification, you can proceed with confidence to conduct the compressor operation test, ensuring all components function seamlessly.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet is expertly connected using threading pipes, which are to be installed underground. Following the placement of the electric control cabinet, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a reliable communication link.
